Mara 29 Posted August 18, 2007 Yeah. I know. But at least he gets to do what he wants now. And there's more job security. He was working for Masaba (I think or something), a company under Northwest Airlines. And he only got to fly little 30 seaters. But now he gets to train for the big ones, 747s and the like. I think maybe with United. But he has to work out of Newark.
Uncle Du 22 Posted August 19, 2007 Wow, that's pretty cool.
Mara 29 Posted August 19, 2007 Aye. He wants to do international flights the most. I'm gonna tell him the first flight to Rome, he's taking me.
Uncle Du 22 Posted August 20, 2007 Hell yea, Rome is awesome. Definitely somewhere every one should go before they die.
Drake 53 Posted August 20, 2007 Definately some place everyone should go TO die. When are they going to start up the Colliseum gladiator battles again?
Mara 29 Posted August 20, 2007 Dunno. I never heard they were gonna do that.
Drake 53 Posted August 20, 2007 Yeah, that's because I was joking. :p
Mara 29 Posted August 20, 2007 I figured so, but sometimes it's hard to know about those things, lol. People are crazy.
Uncle Du 22 Posted August 20, 2007 That would actually be pretty sweet. Oh wait, the human race has evolved past those violent games....and without further adieu, UFC 65!!! :p
Radioactive Isotope 29 Posted August 20, 2007 i'm assuming that is a rediculously violent game based on the flow of the conversation hope things work out well for you, Du. it's good that you guys still want to be friends and make sure your son is taken care of. so many people don't and it's not fair to the kids involved. I think we were talking about the gladiators in the coliseum. Well, I think that things will end up being about as good as it can be stemming from a divorce. What kills me is this woman doesn't even believe in divorce. And come to find out, she was never really sure that she wanted to marry me. Really nice to know three and a half years later. She's got to be the most immature 32 year old I've ever met, and God help me that I can't stop loving her.

Radioactive Isotope 29 Posted August 20, 2007 obviously that made more sense in my head than how it ended up. :S i did read the convo. i was assuming Du was being witty by referencing a violent video game after his peace spiel. :p
Uncle Du 22 Posted August 20, 2007 I have no wit. :p
Mara 29 Posted August 20, 2007 I figured he meant that Ultimate Fighting Championship thing on TV, by the UFC remark.
Uncle Du 22 Posted August 20, 2007 Well, I did. That was kinda the punchline to what was supposed to be a joke. Hence the comment about me not having any wit. ;)
