*sigh* I adopted a 4 year old dog from the animal shelter today. We were together for about 8 hours. Tonight, I took her outside a little before 8pm and she was rolling around and got her leash unclipped. She bolted and ended up getting hit by a car and was killed almost instantly. I was holding her as she died.

I'm still shaking

Thanks guys. It's amazing how quickly you get attached to them. *wipes a tear* Stupid dog. We took her body back to the shelter today and the guy who took her (my dad took her to the back building while I filled out the paperwork) said that she was the 2nd dog this week that had come from the shelter to be hit by a car and killed.

The guy also thought we were bringing her to be put to sleep so he asked my dad if she could walk and when dad told him no, he started apologizing profusely so we wouldn't think he was a jerk

I GOT INTO THE SWTOR BETA BUT IT ISN'T LETTING ME LOG IN. Seriously....WTF?! Awful way to end the day today. Started up with a wake-up call from work asking me to work a few hours...which turned into seven...with cheap tables....then I got the glimmer of hope with this beta, and now it isn't letting me in.

To the coworker that went to HR instead of asking me what the issue was, thank you so much. If you had asked I could have told you that sometime I deal with a hormone imbalance Normally around the time that I have a boncties flair up. Don't ask my why they go hand and hand but they just do. Yes I know that I need to go to the doctor but right now the boncties is not in my chest and my doc won't do anything till it hits my chest...also I can't go to the doctor becuse work is crazy right now and I can't afford to miss the 3 days that the doc will have me take..for if I miss the days then I can't go to the midnight showing of breaking dawn which I already have tickets for and two other peoples..so I will go to the doc next week. But getting back to HR now I have been put on notice and if I don't call about being out on FMLA then I could be seeing a pinkslip or so I have been told...so next time you have an issue with me come to me first or are you too scared?
