Princess 35 Posted September 10, 2009 (edited) I don't know. I checked the posts I wanted to split off and then selected split topic in the post moderation field and it came up with some pink error on the next screen that it's not allowed. You try it B. Tsl 7 Posted September 11, 2009 I dunno. The hospital I work at doesn't use the little kidney shaped basins. We have nice big pink rectangular buckets. They hold a lot. Those are bath basins though, not technically for emesis :p
Princess 35 Posted September 12, 2009 Well, it's what we hand out. I've used a couple of them now, and the kidney basin would not have held what came up. I thought previously that the upper GI was the worst test ever, well, it has now been replaced by the barium enema. I swear that by the time that they find out what's wrong with my I'll have had every diagnostic procedure/test known to man.

Princess 35 Posted September 18, 2009 I don't know. All I know is that even though I don't have a torn abdominal wall, I seem to be responding to the treatment and I felt the best I've felt in 3 months

Princess 35 Posted October 1, 2009 Anyone know about nerve blocks? Cuz I had one today and instead of taking away my pain, my left leg is numb on the outside down to the knee. I don't think that was supposed to happen.
James the Defender 7 Posted October 1, 2009 My father got a couple epidurals. He's pain free, but he's not around ATM for me to ask about numbness.
Princess 35 Posted October 1, 2009 Well, this wasn't exactly an epidural, but an injection near my left hip
James the Defender 7 Posted October 4, 2009 I just received an e-mail about the ingredients in the swine flue vaccine. Can anyone tell me what is in the vaccine? I read things in there like different kinds of animal blood, and human and animal tissues. Is this info correct, my RNs and other medically inclined peoples? Princess 35 Posted October 4, 2009 I'd have to see what the email says of what the ingredients are

Andy 60 Posted October 5, 2009 (edited) That doesn't sound like any vaccine ingredients list I've ever seen. I checked on the NHS website and it says this: What are the ingredients in the vaccine? The complete list of ingredients of the swine flu vaccine will be available once the product is licensed. The Department of Health does not hold this information. It is the manufacturer’s responsibility to provide this information to the European Medicines Agency (EMEA) as part of licensing requirements. The complete details of the ingredients in the H5N1 ‘mock-up’ vaccines, upon which the swine flu vaccines are based, can be found in the summary of product characteristics for Celvapan and Pandemrix.
