The annoying thing about 4G in the UK is that they delayed distribution of the licences to provide the 4G service so I don't think there is 4G anywhere here yet. It's annoying, because we were ahead of you guys with 3G. I remember years ago my dad had to get a new phone when he worked in the US for a few months because he had a 3G phone and couldn't use it over there.

That in no way surprises me lol. It cracks me up that most Americans get all stoked about things when most of the civilized world has actually had that tech for a while. The huge difference is, there's not a dumb ass FCC running sith overseas. The Japanese had smart phones before we had iPods. :p

Taking two methods courses in the same semester may be the dumbest thing I've done in grad school. It may even beat reading the wrong book for a class and showing up for advisement a week early.

My father thinks teachers are paid too much. In our district, teachers are complaining because they aren't getting the same raise as teachers in the surrounding districts. They're not making their market value, so they're complaining. They are doing the wrong way, but the principle of it is he thinks they are wrong for wanting the raise. It would, naturally, up the taxes in the district. He is saying the teachers aren't thinking of the people in the district. Fine and dandy for we who pay taxes, but teachers pay the taxes in the state, too. He doesn't understand when you are seeing everyone else in your market making more than you are you have the right to complain. If I find out every other addiction service Prevention Specialist in the country is making more money than I am, well, I think I have the right to complain. I probably wouldn't, cause I'd probably get fired, but I think I would have the right.

He's never taught; he's never had to deal with parents, nor has he had to pay for his own supplies when the very limited budget has run out. Teachers are so phenominally important. When class size grows and cap space shrinks, well, some people aren't going to be happy. Especially in a market which is so competitive in the first place, especially in a distrcit where pay is low with which to begin.

My best friend is getting married, I am her maid of honor, and I have asked for this time off LONG BEFORE THE THREE WEEK REQUIRED PERIOD. Now you don't give me the day off, SCHEDULE ME FOR A TIME I CAN'T ewokING WORK, and expect me to reschedule my doctor's appointment for the FIFTH ewokING TIME?! I don't know if I can make it until my vested date. sith like this is making me really really really want to turn in my two weeks, even though I don't have a job to go to instead yet. I don't know what it's like over there, but over here that sounds like constructive dismissal and could be grounds to take them to an employment tribunal.

Yeah. And it's mostly my fault for not keeping up with the CEUs I needed, but my state is making things unnecessarily difficult. For one, I can't submit those CEUs online. I have to mail proof in to Frankfort. I sat through an all day seminar today that finished out my requirements (not to mention the WORST stress management lecture EVER!) and likely won't have proof until sometime next week. Hopefully Monday or Tuesday. I also misplaced a piece of paperwork that had a code for me to pay online and the person who could give it to me over the phone won't be in until Monday. And my state license expires the 31st. Of March. Yeah.
