Has potential. Though it seems like a copy of the the cartoon miniseries. And the CGI looks...primitive. Especially for a Lucasfilm production!

Yeah, I saw that video before...

And, I agree, it just seems to be a redone version of the original animated series.

If this is one of the two shows GL was talkin' about... I think we got screwed over.

I was hoping for two new things.

I think it'll also depend on the time slot and whether it's on cable or just a basic channel.

It's supposed to be set after the first two Clone Wars seasons...but that doesn't make much sense since CW season 2 ended the moment before Episode III started. That makes me think that it may be set in between the two seasons since there was a definate time gap.

Yeah, it would make more sense....

Because I think the live action one is supposed to be between III and IV, right?

Oh, and when I said time slot, I meant when it would air. ;):p

Rick McCallum has said that this show will be a Saturday morning program aimed at young viewers, ages 8-10. This doesn't make any sense since, aparently, GL stated otherwise and McCallum doesn't even work on this show (he's working on the live-action). So I dunno...hope this turns out to be untrue.

Maybe.. but I have a feeling it'll turn out to be a campy kids' show anyway.

I don't see why he couldn't have one.

She will most likely die during the series.

 They should make the series between ep. III and IV. it would be exciting, especially with Darth Vader's secret apprentice.

Since it's the Clone Wars... it's mostly likely between II and III. ;)

But there will be a live-action show taking place between III and IV.

Could this possibly be similar to what I linked to here? :p

Oh wow. Cool, well it was only a matter of time. I mean, it's not like there hasn't been other Star Wars films that weren't part of the main series.

    • The Clone Wars (TV)

Just saw the premier of the T.V Series. I have to say, I enjoyed the episode that Master Yoda was in. It's always good to see the little green guy, and he was completely like the version in the movies. The bits with the clones were good as well, but the changed voice was kind of unnverving. And dont even get me started on the damn droid voices.
    • Sith homeworld changed in Clone Wars episode

Leaked plot details from the upcoming final episodes of The Clone Wars television series appear to introduce the Sith homeworld... but not as we know it.Korriban has been enshrined in the Star Wars expanded universe as the homeworld of the Sith race and littered with ancient temples dedicated to the Dark Lords of the Sith, but The Clone Wars seems set to establish the Sith homeworld as "Moriband".

Originally the Sith homeworld was said to be Ziost, but this was later clarified (or maybe retconned) to be a later capital world of the Sith Empire, with Korriban being their planet of origin. Dromund Kaas has also the distinction of being a Sith capital world.

Could Moriband simply be another of several major worlds in the long history of the Sith? Or is this a sign of things to come, as major alterations to Star Wars canon creep their way into the mainstream media.

Disney have remained tight-lipped on the changes to the expanded universe so far, but there are whispers that almost everything past Return of the Jedi is to be wiped clean, with major characters being used as templates for characters in the new sequel trilogy and all-encompassing continuity.
