Radioactive Isotope 29 Posted January 21, 2007 here we go with parents abdicating their responsibility to raise their children to the government. this is why America is so messed up. heaven forbid parents actually teach their kids how to behave. ugh, it makes me so mad. as far as spanking goes, it's a fine line. no, you shouldn't beat your kids, but at the same time, a pop on the rear now and then when you need to get their attention is not going to screw them up for life. my parents spanked us when we misbehaved and we turned out ok. sheesh. But, every now and then, he pushes too far, and I gotta spank him, followed by a brief time out. After that, he's pretty well settled. And yea, if I'm in public, and a spanking is needed, it's straight to the bathroom. But the thing about spanking is, you have to tell your kids why you did it, and how they can avoid it.
