Princess 35 Posted September 9, 2010 Watched Bedtime Stories last week though I was so tired that I fell asleep at 8:30pm on the couch while watching it
Pandora 77 Posted September 10, 2010 ... ironic... We've gone on a Blockbuster kick. We watched Spartacus (the OLD one) the other day, and Kick Ass last night.
Mara 29 Posted September 13, 2010 The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor and Snow Falling on Cedars.
Pandora 77 Posted September 15, 2010 The Blockbuster kick continues.... We watched Kinsey (starring Liam Neeson), then Daniel's old classic craze continued with White Christmas, Court Jester (hilarious!!!), and tonight it's Inspector General.
Pandora 77 Posted September 20, 2010 So Daniel had never seen The Sound of Music all the way through (yes I did gaspdie) so we watched that Friday night. I had to explain what the song "Edelweiss" was REALLY about, and he didn't believe me when I told him how to spell it... I had to flip over my Swiss music box that plays it to prove it. And then I had to wind it up and play it so he could believe it was the same song. 8-) Last night we watched a rather amusing flick called Sex and Death 101 starring whats-his-name from The Mentalist. Surprisingly clean, considering the subject matter, but definitely not for the kiddies. It was one of those rare, intelligent "risque" movies.

Jake Durron 23 Posted October 21, 2010 I saw The Sorcerer's Apprentice. Loved it WAY more than I should have. Stop hating on Nicolas Cage, this movie was campy and like a parody of himself. Seriously. He's a big fan of the Dresden Files book series(google it), and this is like his own personal fanfiction. We all pretended to be SW characters as kids, an I just can't begrudge the poor guy of fulfilling a fantasy, however campy and geekish it may be. The man thinks comic books are the modern mythology for crying out loud. Comics ARE the modern day mythology! ^_^
Jake Durron 23 Posted October 21, 2010 I saw the owls of ga'hool... OMG Ok so we all know I'm a little... spacy/different/spastic/insane/hyper? This movie befuddled me... The visuals were great but the storyline was so half baked and poorly sequenced... it literally hurt my brain... it was like... It was written by a ten year old on three day sleep deprivition, four litres of red sugared soda, a mega bag of skittles and unmedicated ADHD... on crack
Mara 29 Posted October 21, 2010 Yeah, that movie looked pretty stupid. Last night I watched The Princess and the Frog. Not my favorite Disney film but definitely good.
