I had my hearing for my unemployment pay today, and I don't believe that my employer met their burden of proof, but what pisses me off is someone who I considered my friend sitting there, under oath, and committing perjury and completely reversing stuff that she told me to my face.

I've never had a day at my coaching job where I've wanted to quit until today. It doesn't help that Robert has been quitting smoking (and has been irritating about it), I haven't had a day off since mid December, I'm working two jobs and trying to keep it all straight, I'm playing go between between Ellen and the kids we coach, I'm planning my wedding, my best friend's wedding, and part of my aunt's wedding, and I have bills piling up because neither job pays me enough. Yesterday, Ellen said it was fine if two kids decided to do a piece together this season yet (one of them had a partner drop, and they both want to see the duo do well), so I gave the boy a copy of the script yesterday. Not to mention, she was in a meeting today, so I didn't want the kids to bother her with questions. One girl dropped out, and Ellen was pissed she wasn't told first, but what was I supposed to do? Say, "Your mom has to wait for you to leave school because Ellen is in a meeting for who knows how much longer." And there was another girl who had to leave right away to go to Duluth and get back before the meet tomorrow morning to pick someone up and she wanted to know if her friend could come with. Apparently, me telling Ellen "She would like to bring someone along," is bad. I never gave a definitive answer, but got the needed information. I also had to start practice in a neighboring room because Ellen gets upset if we end up getting off schedule, and she couldn't figure out why I did that, but it was because past times this has happened, she's gotten so mad at me. In the past, she's been upset with me when I deffer to her too much, but now when I try to make decisions myself that don't matter a whole ton, she gets upset. And I get it, she has a lot going on since we're hosting the section tournament, but I'm doing just as much as she is. I'm really sick of taking the abuse. It's really wearing on me. She really shouldn't take it personally that the kids aren't as good this year. There isn't much that we can do to help that, other than make them practice and hope for the best. I'm hoping having Saturday and Monday off from coaching will help.

Ugh, that it is the pits. Keep doing what you think is right, and it'll all work out!

I was gonna bitch about something here, but it occurs to me that in the grand scheme of things, mine is small-fry. My family and my friends have had way more negative sith going on in the last week and a half, so there is absolutely no reason for me to talk about the petty sith that I deal with.

Apparently my training period ended last week. So instead of my pay coming out of a training budget, it's coming out of the regular budget, which seems to be stretched pretty thin already. Thanks for letting me know, Boss! :roll:

Grrr. Why the HELL can I not get any kind of connection on my phone? We bought Droid RAZRs Saturday which are totally awesome, but this freaking 4G won't connect to freaking anything. It's starting to piss me the hell off. My phone is my radio in the car, and I'm stuck listening to crap or news if I can't connect to Pandora! Someone at Verizon is going to get cussed out.
