Soo... let's all go to the south of France, or Spain. You're correct. No other city can offer so much debauchery and death, lol Except that it now has (I believe, don't quote me on this) one of the lowest crime rates in the country and the smut businesses (debauchery, as you call it) have largely disappeared, especially from Times Square. I live in the Lower East Side, a neighborhood considered one of the slightly more shady on the island, and at no time in the several years I've now lived here have I felt in danger. It is a fantastic place, as long as you remember the year is 2009, not 1979. And Furday - yes it does! Marseille is one of my favorite towns in the world.
