Bad furday 57 Posted June 17, 2009 (edited) Story time, young'uns! So at the wedding reception...Andrew and Annie and I were sitting at a table, watching people on the dance floor. "Are you going to head out to the floor?" asked Annie. "Sure," I replied, " Let me drink this first." I knocked back the glass of champagne that had been provided. "Not enough?" asked Annie. "You're right," I said, and headed over to the bar. Moments later, I returned. "Oh my god, what is that?!" asked Andrew. He and Annie both knew that I wasn't a big drinker. "Captain Morgan!" I gleefully replied. "Aren't you guys going to dance?" asked Heidi and Carrie. "Dan will be out on the dance floor once he finishes that drink!" laughed Annie. A few minutes later...I was out dancing....with more than a little Captain in me! And later that night...we all went out to a bar after the reception...to celebrate. Mmm...tequila shots. My first shot ever. The room was spinning. There was a house band there, a husband and wife team. They were like, "We'd like to say Congratulations to Ben and Jamie, who were married TODAY!!!" * crowd screams and cheers* " We were.. married 30 years ago today....Best of luck to you both, here's "Goin' to the Chapel!"
