went to the state fair today. it was pretty fun except i lost one of my rings. but it's easy enough to get another one. hopefully in not too long, i'll be wearing a different ring on that finger anyway.

My night sucked royally. We had a 19 year old get thrown out of a car and run over by another car. We (the hospital staff) worked on her for over two hours and she died. It was tough.

so, robert finally was able to pick up his subway check. it was for a lot more than we thought it would be, so we figured we'd cash it on our way to the renaissance faire and meet up with some friends of his. no luck, walmart (the little ones, not any of the super ones) wouldn't cash his ewoking check. we went to three walmarts and a western union that said it was open but it wasn't. when he finally called his friends to say he couldn't cash his check, they offered to pay him whatever his check was for and they'd cash it instead tomorrow. no luck on that either, because i was almost out of gas, we had no money to get any, so that just wasn't going to work. so he called our dm to see if we were still on for dnd tonight. we weren't, apparently, and robert already had two other people coming over to join our party. now, robert is still sleeping because i woke back up starving (i was depressed because of last night and this morning). goddamn to plans fall apart real quick around here.

I just got up an hour ago after 10 hours of wonderful sleep (melatonin is a great thing). And I haven't been out of the house yet, so nothing has happened that is good or bad. But it is raining, and I love rain...when it's not coming through my roof. :p
