We know it's Charlie according to Desmond, but Penny is a strong willed woman who might maybe love her father... despite being all weird and everything... But did you not find young Charles Whitmore interesing? Plus Latin is the language of the Divine and the Enlightment... and the Others... oh I love Latin.
