Hmm I think config.sys has been around as long as Windows, but I suppose you could have had an older version of DOS than the one usually used with Windows...

*shrug* Who cares anyway. lol

Ahem, can all of this go to the games thread? If there's not one, someone can start one in news and entertainment

Some of it I already have. All I bought was an extra 80Gb HDD, the video card, 1Gb RAM, amnd teh processor. And a new motherboard to fit it on.

of course, with all these spare parts I will have, I am approaching the stage where I can run my own webserver.

I wouldn't know the first thing about doing that, lol.

I'm still trying to get in touch with my dad and figure out why he didn't double my RAM like he said he would. :p

Well, that's easy, all you have to do is find out what kinda memory you have, then buy it, then put in the slot on the board. Piece o cake!

Dammit, we went to another page, now no one will see my question. Thanks Mara! ;)

Pfft. Some crazy people here read every new post. ;)

Well, I thought he was going to add another 192 so I had 256, but apparently I have only 192.

I don't need to buy more RAM 'cause I think he has more at home.

See, both me and my sister got a new comp. Each with only 192 RAM. So he was going take one of the 192's and combine it and give that computer one 256, so they both had 256.

'Cept, he didn't. For some reason.

I think I'm realizing why my dad decided to get us new computers...and even springed for flat screen monitors.

They're freakin' cheap! :p
