Master Hayes 1 Posted November 17, 2009 Wow, Carolina actually beat Montreal today It was Minnesota, actually. No, it sucks for me to say this but Carolina beat the Wild this afternoon 5-4 in a shootout. Why does that suck? We just snapped our 14-game losing streak, wahoo!! If it's any consolation, we're still the worst in the league with only 10 points. Thanks to an OT loss on Friday, whoo! Though, it begs to see whether this is a change or not, depending on how the next couple weeks go. Hopefully we made a turn for the better. It sucks for 2 reasons: First off your squad had a 14 game winless streak going, which btw I feel for you, but those are teams that your supposed to pounce on, which the Wild didn't do. Second, the Wild came back from being down 4-1 only to lose. The come back was nice, but then I got all involved and would rather they would've lost outright rather than toying with my emotions. And you're going to need all the help you can get against your division rivals, the COLORADO AVALANCHE!!! Hayes, I got to see the Wild play Pittsburgh here, and it was an awesome game, especially since I was maybe 1 of 2 people rooting for the Wild, haha! Backs was awesome in net.
