  1. Star Wars: The Old Republic: Onslaught will be the MMO's first new expansion for three years, and is coming free to all subscribers in September 2019. The expansion see Darth Malgus return, and promises to reignite the war between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire and brings two new planets, as well as a new Flashpoint on Corellia and a new Operation on Dxun amongst other features. The new story sends players to the Republic world of Onderon and the smuggler's haven of Mek-Sha. The philosophy behind the expansion is said to be "play your way", with the development team introducing new tactical items that allow you to further customise your character and abilities to suit your gameplay style. You will also be able to choose to undermine your own faction or stay loyal their cause. Additionally the level cap will be raised to 75 (free accounts can play to level 50), and the Nautolan species will also become available to players creating a new character. Visit the official Star Wars: The Old Republic site for the full announcement.
  2. BioWare Community Manager Eric Musco teased players with a video showing what appeared to be player housing during a Twitch livestream yesterday. This confirmed what dataminers had recently posted on Reddit, showing that additions to the game code and assets pointed towards this feature being implemented. Today it was officially confirmed with this announcement trailer, captured from the development livestream: Player housing is a feature missing from many recent MMOs, and amongst fans who played Star Wars Galaxies especially this has been a much requested feature that is sure to prove popular. Player-owned structures in Star Wars Galaxies could be placed almost anywhere on a planet, with some player controlled cities becoming busier than areas built by the developers. Houses allowed players to sell merchandise and show off their possessions, as well as provide valuable storage space. It is currently not clear what kind of system The Old Republic will be using but more details are sure to emerge soon.

    Star Wars: The Old Republic

So sad this was not Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic III: The Search for Darth Revan (or something like that.) Oh, well. I could not find a thread for this, so I started one. I did not purchase nor play the game, but I have this really epic video. Here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qoF6dz_-NGI&list=PLABiE6PCt-B_ixJ9OfAzSA7v3cP4R0TDA
