  1. EA have revealed during their recent financial statement that Respawn Entertainment's Star Wars video game, Jedi: Fallen Order, will release in autumn 2019. Despite being highly anticipated by fans there is little information available about Jedi: Fallen Order, and no screenshots or footage has been revealed. The game is set in the period between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, and is said to follow a Jedi being hunted down by agents of the Galactic Empire. Respawn's founder Vince Zampella has said that the game will be a single player action adventure game, that will (unsurprisingly) feature lightsaber combat. Development of the game is being lead by Stig Asmussen who was previously the creative lead on God of War III. In a 2016 blog post, Asmussen stated that Respawn "promise to pay respect to the Star Wars legacy at all times, a fact that will be constantly reinforced and honored as a central game design tenet." We impatiently await further details.

    Death Stranding

Anyone else super excited for this game? It's the game being created by Hideo Kojima, creator of the Metal Gear Solid series. Everything I've seen is so bizarre but so cool. It stars Norman Reedus (Daryl from The Walking Dead) and Mads Mikkelsen. Director Guillermo del Toro looks to be involved as well. It makes me want to buy a Playstation 4 just to play it.
  3. Chickenman

    Mass Effect

Been playing for about a week, and I gotta say, I'm floored.
  4. This was the cover article on the recent issue of Game Informer. Being that right now, the story is still an exclusive, I can't link to really anything but pictures, which are here. The skinny on the game is this (and I'll spolier tag this in case someone doesn't want to know): That's just the beginning of the game, and I haven't included everything. There isn't really much else out about the game, because it's being kept under such tight wraps. But from I gather, you're going to run into damn near every super-villain that Batman ever put away. Should be interesting. I'll post more when there's more to post. Update: Might as well make this about the newest game coming out, Arkham City. This one should deliver as an incredible follow up to AA. Catwoman and the Boy Wonder make appearances, with Catwoman definitely being a playable character. And damn is she bad ass! If one of you modly types could amend the title of this here thread, that would be awesome!
  5. I'm posting this on the eve of AC2 release. Hopefully I will be there at midnight picking it up. The first one was awesome. Some say it got a little repetitive, but the free running and climbing was awesome. Ubi did an incredible job rendering the cities of Jerusalem, Acre and Damascus (can't remember the others). The story line is also very compelling, and melds very well with the actual history books. If you haven't played the first, I highly recommend it. I know that it's available for download on XBox Live. Not really sure about PSN.
  6. http://pc.gamespy.com/pc/the-elder-scrolls...n/558955p1.html Oh. My. God.
  7. According to Wikipedia... http://youtu.be/BQyGu4EqZsU I'm certainly stoked for it! There's no official word yet on the release date (I'm guessing next year at the earliest) or which plaltforms it will be for (though I assume PC, Playstation 3, and XBox 360 will all be represented). Some of the gameplay moves (rolling between cover and yanking enemies over cover for a kill) and even some of the HUD elements remind me of Mass Effect 3.

    Star Wars: The Old Republic

So sad this was not Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic III: The Search for Darth Revan (or something like that.) Oh, well. I could not find a thread for this, so I started one. I did not purchase nor play the game, but I have this really epic video. Here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qoF6dz_-NGI&list=PLABiE6PCt-B_ixJ9OfAzSA7v3cP4R0TDA

    The Halo Series

I bought the first Halo a few weeks ago and beat it a few days ago. I must say, it's not the uber-awesome game I thought it would be.
  10. Ender

    Dragon Age

http://dragonage.bioware.com/home/ I've been meaning to check this game out for a while now, and it looks amazing. It's developed by BioWare of KOTOR and Mass Effect fame, and there goes another $60 I don't have...
  11. Uncle Du

    Bioshock Series

Since the 2nd game was just announced, I wanted to create this. If you haven't played the first, you really need to. Of course, it's a Microsoft game, so that might hinder some of you. Teaser trailer for #2. IGN page Definitely worth getting the first and playing through. Awesome story, gorgeous environments and an awesome control scheme.
