Drake 53 Posted March 29, 2005 I don't see people wouldn't want it to pass. I suppose some could say that anyone could just waltz in from out-of-country and run for President. Of course there would have to be restrictions...like they would have to be a legal resident for at least 15 years or something.
Tsl 7 Posted March 29, 2005 It won't pass. This country is too paranoid, lol.

Radioactive Isotope 29 Posted March 29, 2005 "aboot." hehe. anyway, there is a rumor that one of our Presidents (i can't remember which one) might have been Canadian born, but of course no one can prove it.

Mara 29 Posted March 29, 2005 Yunno...the Canadians I work with, hardly ever say "aboot." Or "eh." The only time you can really tell, is when they talk about where they're from, or when they mention "zed" instead of "zee."

Drake 53 Posted March 29, 2005 From a clip of footage from Kung Fu: The Legend Continues that I had to edit together in Film class today. For those who don't know, David Carradine is the star of the show, Kane. He also plays Bill in Kill Bill. David Niven is my Film prof. According to him, Carradine was an alcoholic and was often drunk while doing his scenes...as can be seen here: David Carradine: *looking for his cues on the floor* Where am I supposed to stand? Here? *steps over* Here? David Niven: Stand on the yellow one. Carradine: Don't you know I'm colour blind! They're all yellow to me! :p
