quotes from risky business:

Joel: My Name is Joel Goodson, I deal in human fullfillment. I grossed over $ 8,000 in one night. Time of your life, huh kid?

Miles: Sometimes you gotta say "What the ewok", make your move. Joel, every now and then, saying "What the ewok", brings freedom. Freedom brings opportunity, opportunity brings freedom. So your parents are going out of town. You got the place all to yourself.

Joel: Yeah.

Miles: What the ewok.

Joel: Porsche. There is no substitute.

Miles: ewok you.

Police Officer: Get off the babysitter

Joel's Mother: Please Joel, do what they say, just get off the babysitter.

Mechanic: Who's the U-boat commander?

Miles: I don't believe this! I've got a trig midterm tomorrow, and I'm being chased by Guido the killer pimp.

Joel: When it came right down to it, I just wasn't attracted to her.

Miles: That should never stop you.

Joel: Looks like the University of Illinois!

Quotes from The Italian Job

Stella: I'm fine.

Charlie Croker: You know what fine stands for: Freaked-out, Insecure, Neurotic, and Emotional.

Skinny Pete: If there's one thing I know, it's never to mess with mother nature, mother in-laws and, mother freaking Ukrainians

Steve: You blew the best thing you had going for you. You blew the element of surprise.

[Charlie punches Steve]

Charlie Croker: Surprised?

[Lyle is impersonating Handsome Rob and the cable girl]

Lyle: [as Handsome Rob] 'Ello, I'm Handsome Rob, what's your name?

Lyle: [as girl] My name's Becky. Buts its uh, written on my shirt.

Lyle: [as Handsome Rob] Look, I'm gonna need your shirt and your truck.

Lyle: [as girl] Okay. Would you like my virginity as well?

Lyle: [as Handsome Rob] If it's on the menu.

Lyle: [as Handsome Rob] You're not very bright are you?

Lyle: [as girl] No.

Lyle: [as Handsome Rob] Perfect.

John Bridger: I'm sending you something.

Stella Bridger: Does it smell nice?

John Bridger: No. But it's sparkly.

Charlie Croker: A police boat can get from the station to our position in seven. That means you've got four minutes to work your magic.

John Bridger: Now, you told me ten and you said that I would have five.

Charlie Croker: When?

[John smiles]

Charlie Croker: Do not be messing with me right now. I will kick your ass.

The proper Italian Job, or the new crappy one (which I haven't seen)?

The new awesome one. It's not as good as the original, but it's still a good movie. How do you know it's crappy if you havent seen it?

I never saw the old one, or even knew there was one. But I didn't like the "new" one very much.

See it's this Britishness thing again. If someone says it's not worth seeing, then we don't go see it, and jsut stubornly cling to the old version which is a classic peice of British movie history. :)

"Some people may not be happy with it, but when you get right down to it, it's only setting fire to their loved ones against their will - you must agree that that's less important than expanding suburban development."

"The beeurd is on the brink of extinction, largely due to people hunting them down for tasty beeurd-kahbobs and beeurdburgers, and as ecological disaster looms, various factions are all calling for what they feel should be done about the beeurd."

I was playing America's Army on a comp that couldn't quite handle the graphics, so it kept lagging and stuff. On a level meant to be a simulated accident that required a field medic to practice (me) the lag produced some hilarious results.

How it was supposed to go:

Officer: Blah blah blah *tells you how to heal people*

*BOOM*

Voice: Ahhh! Medic!

*then the level began*

-----------------------------------------------------

How it went with the lag:

Officer: Blah blah blah.

*BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM! with screaming and cries of "Medic!" mixed in*

Voice: *all broken up and weird* Medic! medic! medic! medic! medic! medic!
