Roethlisberger 0 Posted May 13, 2004 Bevis: I didn't want to do this, you know. I wanted to be a lumberjack! Mr. Praline: Yes, this is irrelevant. Bevis: Yes! A lumberjack! Leaping from tree to tree as they float down the mighty rivers of British Columbia! The smell of fresh cut timber! The giant redwood! The larch! The fir! The mighty Scots pine! With my best girlie by my side, we'd sing... sing... sing! [sings] Bevis: I'm a lumberjack and I'm OK/I sleep all night and I work all day. Mounties Chorus: He's a lumberjack and he's OK/He sleeps all night and he works all day. Bevis: I cut down trees, I eat my lunch, I go to the lavatory/On Wednesdays I go shopping and have buttered scones for tea. Mounties Chorus: He cuts down trees, he eats his lunch, he goes to the lavatory/On Wednesdays he goes shopping and has buttered scones for tea./He's a lumberjack and he's OK/He sleeps all night and he works all day. Bevis: I cut down trees, I skip and jump, I like to press wildflowers/I put on women's clothing and hang around in bars. Mounties Chorus: He cuts down trees, he skips and jumps, he likes to press widlflowers. [uneasily] Mounties Chorus: He puts on... women's... clothing? And hangs around... in... bars? [bright as ever] Mounties Chorus: He's a lumberjack and he's OK/He sleeps all night and he works all day. Bevis: I cut down trees, I wear high heels, suspenders and a bra/I wish I'd been a girlie, just like my dear papa. Mounties Chorus: He cuts down trees, he wears... high... heels? Suspenders? And a... bra? Ugghhh... [they storm off] Bevis: I wish I'd been a girlie, just like my dear papa! Best Girl: Oh, Bevis! And I though you were so butch! Roethlisberger 0 Posted May 21, 2004 (edited) I see it. War is all the rage these days, so let me lay another one on you - TIVO vs. Advertisers. With more and more Americans zapping commercials, advertisers are going guerilla on our asses. Taking it to new and better heights. For example, five-foot tall bulimic men. The Churchill Downs recently OK'd the jockeys to wear advertisements on their shorts. The commission for the Churchill Downs has stated in the past that it didn't want, quote "advertisements that would not taint or destroy the fine tradition here at Churchill Downs". That means that they didn't want ads tainting the nobility of gambling. Which means no ads for glue or dog food, it upsets the horses! So what did the ads permit? An ad for Hypnotiq, a liquor made from vodka, cognac, and tropical fruit juices. Just perfect for Derby Day. And it's the only drink more likely to make you puke than a mint julep. Baseball has also permitted these ads, but the players wont wear them. Not because of the purity of the game, but the ads conflict with the player's own endorsement deals. Speed Stick? I thought they endorsed Right Guard! Say it aint so! Edited May 21, 2004 by Fett

Roethlisberger 0 Posted May 22, 2004 (edited) If someone makes a mistake, he's right on top of them. Mainly political. He doesn't hate anyyone. Many politicians that he makes fun of actually appear on his show (Howard Dean, John Edwards, who announced that he was running for candidacy on the show, Richard Clarke, Al Sharpton, and Wes Clark have all appeared) Edited May 22, 2004 by Fett
