I have to go back to work tomorrow night after 7 nights off which is going to be hard enough after being in bed before I have to go to work all night this week, it's also the time change so I have to work 9 hours instead of 8.

Isn't working fall back fun, Furday?

I WISH THERE WAS SNOW ON MY CAR!!!!

Next time I'll send you some. :p

And it was only a few flurries. By the time I left, it was just frozen bits of ice from the melting snow. Nothing the defroster couldn't handle. :p

And this week, it's in the 60s!

What do you do for a living, drive a snow plow?

It gets down into the upper forties here and I get pissy.

You have a higher cold tolerance than I do... I die once it hits 55... I hate cold... I wanna go to Louisiana in the swamp and bask in heat and humidity.

I do not drive a snow plow. I make no money off the snow. I love it, and I love the cold. This summer here was HORRENDOUS! It was near of above 90 most of the summer. I was dieing...

Ugh. I don't like when it gets above 85 or so. 90 and above is just intolerable for me.

Me, too. I don't like when it goes above 75. I want to live in Wisconsin, near Green Bay, but I have roots in South Jersey and my wife hates the cold. :p

I like it when it's 85, anything over that and I get grumpy, especially when it's humid too.

Bad furday

Such a nice day out today...bit cold ( it's only 70) ...mowed someone's lawn, fertilised it, and put away their mower...and dragged out their snowblower :(

I miss summer :(

I woke up at 5 to be at work by 630 today. I left for home after sunset. I haven't seen the sun for a long time....

I miss summer :(

Yesterday was a nice day, but a bit warm (it was 66) I'm so sore from splitting wood, playing baseball, and throwing knives.

I can't wait for winter...

Good news: I have the opportunity to get a job that would put my degree to good use! It's called a Prevention Specialist. In this selected role, I would help teenagers to see the dangers of addiction to drugs including alcohol by giving week long classes, giving lectures at schools, and talking to individual parents about helping their kids to stay free from addiction.

My degree is in History, but just just having a degree is what matters. Without a bachelors, I wouldn't get the job. I would be making pretty much DOUBLE what I make now and with better healthcare. Since it's a state job, my insurance would be 100% covered by the state. I would get 2 weeks paid vacation, 12 personal days, and every civic holiday off. M-F 8:30-4:30. Nice office job. I hope I get it, it would really help my family out. :)

Good luck, James. :)

I've been contemplating finding a new job myself. One without so much stress. And better pay.
