I have to say, one of the best games ever. (Remember, we still have HL2 and the Total War series)

Mass Effect is one of the games that make me want a 360.

They're not even close to what the idiots at Fox News and that evangelical blogger claimed.

?Mass Effect can be customized to sodomize whatever, whomever, however, the game player wishes,? and ?with its ?over the net? capabilities virtual orgasmic rape is just the push of a button away.?

Idiot.

But if you absolutely need to see the cutscenes, they're on youtube. Everything is in shadow, and its hardly explicit. But yeah...have fun with it I suppose.

The problem I had with the Mass Effect sex scene was that it was hardly explicit...

I've played the game and I do find it awesome... only because you don't need to reload.

I bought Mass Effect when I bought my Xbox 360, but haven't played it yet because I've been playing the Force Unleashed.

I did come across this when looking over the list of upcoming releases.

Finally started playing. Just got to the Cidadel. Haven't talked to the Council yet. There's something about the Fixers. Their legs look like the thing they took the stillframe of in the opening cinematic.

EDIT: A thought:

I wonder if the Fixers are way the Protheans (sp?) are extinct...

Whatever. I'm like fifteen minutes into the game. The only creatures I have straight are humans, geth, and husks (there's a disturbing concept).

Me too. I'm frantically replaying the first one to get a save game in order for it, since the HD I had my first game on broke.

I was watching one of the videos on XBox Live, and they were saying that even if you had never played the first one, or didn't have a complete game, that you would still have an awesome experience and not miss out on anything.

Anyone else super excited for this game?  It's the game being created by Hideo Kojima, creator of the Metal Gear Solid series.  Everything I've seen is so bizarre but so cool.  It stars Norman Reedus (Daryl from The Walking Dead) and Mads Mikkelsen.  Director Guillermo del Toro looks to be involved as well.  It makes me want to buy a Playstation 4 just to play it.

    • Player housing coming to The Old Republic

BioWare has released a video announcement of a new player housing feature for Star Wars: The Old Republic.BioWare Community Manager Eric Musco teased players with a video showing what appeared to be player housing during a Twitch livestream yesterday. This confirmed what dataminers had recently posted on Reddit, showing that additions to the game code and assets pointed towards this feature being implemented.

Today it was officially confirmed with this announcement trailer, captured from the development livestream:

Player housing is a feature missing from many recent MMOs, and amongst fans who played Star Wars Galaxies especially this has been a much requested feature that is sure to prove popular.

Player-owned structures in Star Wars Galaxies could be placed almost anywhere on a planet, with some player controlled cities becoming busier than areas built by the developers. Houses allowed players to sell merchandise and show off their possessions, as well as provide valuable storage space.

It is currently not clear what kind of system The Old Republic will be using but more details are sure to emerge soon.

    • Two new expansions for The Old Republic

Games developer BioWare has revealed plans for two new expansions for it's massively multiplayer online RPG Star Wars: The Old Republic in 2014.Senior Producer Bruce Maclean told players that they can expect to see two digital expansions to be released in 2014, which will be similar to last years Galactic Starfighter and Rise of the Hutt Cartel expansions.

Also confirmed was on-going maintenance and bug-fixing patches on a three-week basis, along with new many new features for PvP and PvE players alike.

This is all part of plans to attract new players; The Old Republic, which reportedly cost $200 million to develop, moved to a free-to-play model with micropayments after failing to build a large enough player base to sustain a subscription model.
