Chickenman

Say Hello to Heaven is a great song. One of the best of the grunge anthems. :D

Edit: So now I'm in a Temple of the Dog mood, thanks to you.

"Hunger Strike" by Temple of the Dog.

"John the Revelator" by, I think, Taj Mahal. I'm not sure. Watching Blues Brothers 2000 and it's in the credits.

"It's Cheaper to Keep Her" by the Blues Brothers (well, by someone else, but I'm listening to the Blues Brothers due it. So sue me. Or more accurately, don't.) :p

Personally, I think he won by 1/100th of a second.

But that's just me.

"Stardog Champion" by Mother Love Bone, since Unknown decided to put me in a grunge mood. :p

That is a cool song. I had never heard anything by Mother Love Bone until Friday, and I liked it. I'll have to get the album.

Great band. Actually the only reason that Pearl Jam exists.

Well, not the only reason.

There was Temple of the Dog, which formed after the lead singer of Mother Love Bone died.

And before that there was Green River and Malfunkshun.

So it's one of the reasons Pearl Jam exists.

:p

Andy Wood's death had a lot of affect on the history of grunge. Temple of the Dog formed as a tribute, leading to the formation of Pearl Jam. Alice in Chains' "Would" and Candlebox's "Far Behind" are about him.
