Obi-Wan goes to Padme, telling her the murder Anakin committed at the Jedi Temple (murder of the younglings). Padme flees to Mustafar where she knows Anakin is (Obi-Wan stows away on Padme's ship contrary to her knowledge). When Padme arrives on Mustafar she finds the Separtist leaders slain by Anakin. When Padme goes to Anakin to confront him, Obi-Wan comes into the scene. Anakin, feeling betrayed, uses the force to choke Padme and then (in one of two versions that was filmed) throws Padme against a wall, knocking her unconcious. Obi-Wan, witnessing this, sees no turning back for Anakin.
