Pandora 77 Posted June 22, 2011 Glad no one's hurt. It's certainly been a wild storm season thusfar. Wonder what this fall is going to look like!
Princess 35 Posted June 22, 2011 I think that all of Michigan is covered in red on the radar right now. The sky is a lovely purple whenever lightning lights it up

Pandora 77 Posted June 22, 2011 I love it when the lightning and thunder rolls in before the rain does and you can sit outside and watch it.

Princess 35 Posted June 22, 2011 It's been storming on and off all day but the severe stuff has gone to the south of me. Had to go stick my hand down a dark hole earlier to make sure that the sump pump was still working. Now I'm just hoping that the weather doesn't ruin the ABBA mania concert that's free at the park tonight
Princess 35 Posted June 22, 2011 And I think that the concert is cancelled
Ayingel 24 Posted June 22, 2011 Yeeesh....wouldn't have stuck my hand down a dark hole. No sir, no way.
Mara 29 Posted June 22, 2011 I didn't think it was all that windy last night--no more than usual--but the first pass-through of storms yesterday afternoon apparently punched a hole in one of the hangars at the airport, and they even evacuated the tower. Which is freaky because my office is about ten minutes from the airport.
Princess 35 Posted June 23, 2011 Yay! The weather cleared up enough for the concert and the sun even came out

Mara 29 Posted July 11, 2011 I love when the weatherman says there's a possibility of severe storms coming, but that he believes it'll break up over the lake or even before that. And then we have a ginormous storm that takes down dozens of trees, branches, power lines... and even kills at least one person.
