this week we're gearing up for Nutcracker performance this weekend. they decided to redo the costumes for one of the diverts, which is all fine and dandy. they're really cute. honest. we even get to wear cute little hats (will post pics when i get them, hehe). so why am i ranting? they're freakin HEAVY! my solo has a double pirouette from fifth (much harder than from fourth, cuz my feet are closer together). double from fifth + heavy skirt and hat = JM falling flat on her tush. and the performances start on Thursday. *cry*

uuughh...Anna is such a freaking drama queen. She's been acting like this ever since we rearranged the room, and Emily and I are sick of it. It's why I'm hardly here any more. She just walks in, turns off the light, and doesn't talk to anyone. It's stupid! And I guess Emily is talking to Judy (our RM) and she asked me to come with. I really will now. This is so stupid! I'm sick of it.

I can rant about two of my housemates all day and night until I go blue in the face. Well...one housemate and his girlfriend who lives here without paying rent. But whatever, I don't feel like writing two 25 page essays this week. *rubs overworked fingers*

So the guy has gotten much more annoying than normal. Now he comes up to my room at least once every half hour to ask what I'm doing. Then he goes along to the other people in the rooms upstairs with me, asking what they're doing. For the past few days, we've been working on these damn 25 page papers so it was obvious what the hell we were doing. Not to mention that he has bad hygiene so a waft of cheesy baby diarrhea fondu (an accurate term made up by another housemate) floats by whenever he sticks his head in the door. It's so bloody annoying! Not to mention, he spends most of his time in the damn bathroom. I swear, there was one day where he went to the bathroom FIVE TIMES before noon!

Him: "Hey guys, what's goin on?"

Me: *saying* "Nothing." *thinking* THE SAME ewokING THING I WAS DOING THE LAST TIME YOU BLOODY ASKED ME! Another thing......YOU ewokING STINK!!!.

I'm not even going to get into how bad his girlfriend is. She doesn't stink but she's a pain in the ass to deal with.

It's about time you're doing something about that. There's absolutely no reason why you should have to suffer through a bithy roommate.

You've been able to run Windows on Apple for a while now. You can set it up so you run Windows within a window in Mac, or you can set it up so you choose whether you boot in Windows or Mac OS every time to start your computer. When you boot as Windows, you can get viruses, but the Mac part of your computer is safe. Oh, and you can buy about any software for Windows, for Mac. The only advantage Windows has is when it comes to playing games. And I don't know what you're talking about, no tech support. It's super-easy and reliable. I've never had any problems with it.

So, let's see--you can get the pretty little Macbook, on which you can play your games in Windows, and then surf the net in Mac OS so you don't get viruses. Or you can get the PC, play your games, and get viruses. Hmm... toughie.

That's true enough. With the nation's overwhelming preference being towards PCs, Apple is smaller, and thus can't be everywhere, physically, at once. But its Tech Support website is great, and easy to use. And the phone service works fine as well. Besides, for hardware problems, there's always Geek Squad or someone like them.

My Acorn Computer is ace. So few viruses that you're likely to never see one in your lifetime

Plus they can't really do anything serious, because the OS is stored in Read-Only Memory.

Sounds a lot like my old ex roommate...the one I hated (well, I think everyone hated him after three years)...especially with the asking what was going on...and the smell. Except roomthing smelled like Wisk and Dial soap. :|

so first me and Andy have a talk and decide to just be friends. I was fine with that, although a little miffed... I planned to see how things went for a while and see if it would work out being more than just friends.

Then today we are talking and he tells me he's met someone. He seemed to find it hard to tell me so i told him not to worry about it and that i was happy for him. and i am, i wish him all the luck.

at first i was okay, but it's sinking in... i'm just not happy for myself right now. but i don't want him to feel bad for that. urgh.

I've liked this guy for like... well, since June. before I even met my ex, Ashley.

Why didn't i do anything back then? I dunno. must be crazy i guess... he lived in my town back then too.
