Roethlisberger 0 Posted October 10, 2004 kanye west.. all credability... lost Opinion once again. Anyone who limits him or herself to one genre of music is narrow-minded and doesn't deserve to comment on any other genre of music besides the one they exclusively like. Drake 53 Posted October 17, 2004 Team America: World Police: A+ This movie was freakin hilarious! I was laughing throughout pretty much the entire thing. It's full of political stereotypes and humourous stabs at the war on terrorism. Being from the creators of South Park, it doesn't dissapoint. However, it definately deserves its R rating for violence, language (lots and lots of it) and sexual scenes. That's right...marionette sex. Now I need to go get some water for my sore throat caused from laughing too hard...
Roethlisberger 0 Posted October 17, 2004 (edited) We all know about the marionette sex. Anyway, I give the film an A- Edited October 17, 2004 by Mr Mojo Risin

Roethlisberger 0 Posted October 23, 2004 (edited) Okay, now a review of Sideways. Sideways: Sideways is the best movie of the year! It is so good, that I'm sure no one else on who posts at GB will like it. Written and directed by Alexander Payne, it's about a man named Miles (Paul Giamatti, in his best performance), who takes his friend Jack (Thomas Hayden Church, a lock for Best Supporting Actor) on a wine tasting trip in California on before Jack gets married. Alexander Payne is becoming one of my favorite modern Writer/Directors (my other ones being Paul Thomas Anderson, Wes Anderson, Richard Linklater and Quentin Tarantino). Payne writes the best screenplays in the business these days (perhaps Charlie Kaufman), and this is his best one. The movie is heartbreaking and hilarious. Not hilarious in the Team America-everyone has AIDS, sense. It's hilarious in the Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (the year's other great dramedy) type of way. This movie should make Paul Giamatti a star and should give him an oscar. Grade: A+ Edited October 23, 2004 by Mr Mojo Risin
Tsl 7 Posted October 23, 2004 Collateral gets a B+ A bit long, but quite thrilling, some funny bits, good acting, lots of violence...mmm....violence....
Radioactive Isotope 29 Posted October 24, 2004 The Haunting one of the few "scary" movies to actually be scary instead of just stupid. it takes the concept of a haunted house to new extremes, and Liam Neeson is in it. Grade: A+

Grade: A+ Personally I would have given that movie a C-. Didn't get an F because Liam Neeson was in it.

Roethlisberger 0 Posted December 14, 2004 The Last Waltz: Absolutely wonderful film! The best rock film of all time! See it now! (It's The Band's farewell concert as directed by Martin Scorsese). Grade: A+ (more in depth review may come later)
Princess 35 Posted December 14, 2004 THX1138 GL's first film, quite abstract but very true to the values and struggles going on in mainstream America at the time with the drug experimentation and questioning those in authority and mindless consumerism and such. A bit difficult to folllow at times, yet still compelling. You almost have to watch the director's documentary though to fully understand the movie and all the subtle undertones and symbolism in it. B+
