Ana 15 Posted June 9, 2006 I was in Vancouver during the first game. My dad and I went to dinner at a sports bar. The place was absolutely packed, and everyone was rooting for the Oilers. I left at the end of the first because it was freezing cold in there, but at the same time way stuffy, so I went back to our hotel. I could still hear the cheering from the street every time the Oilers scored. My dad left at the end of the second, when it was 3-1, because he felt bad about taking up a whole booth when he was done eating and there were people waiting, but he felt confident in the outcome. We'd both bet on the oilers for winning the final round. I'd started watching Pride and Prejudice, and neither of us noticed the cheering, or rather, the lack thereof. We were friggin' shellshocked when the movie ends, he flips to ESPN, and it says the 'Canes won. We're just, "no way." It was ridiculous. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Well, the crash wasn't his fault, but he should have been wearing a helmet! 9-inch gash in the head...broken jaw..something with his sinuses..facial injuries..and there have been different reports on his knees.
