Bad furday 57 Posted October 15, 2004 (edited) *Writes in notebook* "On this day, October 14, 2004, at apx. 4:55 pm, GI attempted to fulfill the wishes of webmaster Beeurd and others by rotating the second of three images to make it easier to read. In doing so, he stretched the page, a completely unacceptable manoeuvere. GI's failure at attempting to please (yet again) has been duly noted through this writing. A time and place are yet to be arranged for possible punishments and/or death. Ps. CorSec has also been observed using the term "you're" incorrectly, when in fact the word in question should be "your". This occured at 7:47 pm, same day. Possible punishments and/or death for CorSec have yet to be arranged as well." :D Edited October 15, 2004 by Bad ?urday
Radioactive Isotope 29 Posted October 15, 2004 In another note, GI used the wrong form of "it's" at 6:48pm. "Its" is the possessive form while "it's" is the contraction of "it is." GI's punishment to follow CorSec's :p
GI_Admiral 2 Posted October 15, 2004 In another note JM did not follow subject agreement when she wrote at 9:09PM GI's punishment to follow CorSec's. Correction should be GI's punishment to follow CorSec's punishment. Possible punishments and/or death for JM have yet to be arranged
Ana 15 Posted October 15, 2004 I wouldn't want to hug an Olsen twin... it might puncture you. Multiple lacerations. I will share my flaming lederhosen if you will share your fearful symmetry.
Radioactive Isotope 29 Posted October 15, 2004 In another note JM did not follow subject agreement when she wrote at 9:09PM GI's punishment to follow CorSec's. Correction should be GI's punishment to follow CorSec's punishment. Possible punishments and/or death for JM have yet to be arranged misplaced modifiers. "...did not follow subject verb agreement when she wrote at 9:09PM" implies "at 9:09PM" is what was written. correction should be "...did not follow subject verb agreement at 9:09PM when she wrote..." GI's punishment/death back on schedual :p
Drake 53 Posted October 15, 2004 JM lacks the grammatical skills for adding capitalization. Her failure is complete. She shall be punished and/or put to death following the immediate punishments and/or deaths of CorSec and GI.

Ender 8 Posted October 16, 2004 Quotes From King Arthur Lancelot: There is a large number of lonely men out there. Guinevere: Don't worry; I won't let them rape you. Guinevere: My father told me great tales of you. Arthur: Really? And what did you hear? Guinevere: Fairy tales. The kind you hear about people so brave, so selfless, that they can't be real. Arthur and his knights. A leader both Briton and Roman. And yet, you chose your allegiance to Rome, to those who take what does not belong to them. That same Rome that took your men from their homeland. Arthur: Listen, lady. Do not pretend you know anything about me or my men. Guinevere: How many Britons have you killed? Arthur: As many as tried to kill me. It's the natural state of any man to want to live. Guinevere: Animals live. It's the natural state of any man to want to live free... in their own country. I belong to this land. Where do you belong, Arthur? Arthur: How's your hand? Guinevere: I'll live, I promise you. Is there nothing about my land that appeals to your heart? Your own father married a Briton. Even he must have found something to his liking. Arthur: O merciful God, I have such need of Your mercy now. Not for myself, but for my knights, for this is truly their hour of need. Deliver them from their trials ahead and I will pay You a thousand fold with any sacrifice You ask of me. And if in Your wisdom, You should determine that sacrifice must be my life for theirs; so that they can once again taste the freedom that is so long been denied to them, I will gladly make that covenant. My death will have a purpose. I ask no more than that. Lancelot: Why do you always talk to God and not to me? Pray. To whomever you pray that we don't cross the Saxons. Arthur: My faith is what protects me, Lancelot. Why do you challenge this? Lancelot: I don't like anything that puts a man on his knees. Arthur: No man fears to kneel before the God he trusts. Without faith, without belief in something, what are we? Lancelot: To try and get past the Woads in the north is insanity. Arthur: Them, we've fought before. Lancelot: Not north of the Wall! How many Saxons? Hmm? How many? Tell me. Do you believe in this mission? Arthur: These people need our help. It is out duty to bring... Lancelot: I don't care about your charge. And I don't give a damn about Romans, Britain, or this island. If you desire to spend eternity in this place, Arthur, then so be it. But suicide cannot be chosen for another-! Arthur: And yet you choose death for this family! Lancelot: No, I choose life! And freedom! For myself and the men! Arthur: How many times in battle have we snatched victory from the jaws of defeat? Outnumbered, outflanked, but still we triumph? With you at my side, we can do so again. Lancelot, we are knights. What other purpose do we serve if not for such a cause? Lancelot: Arthur, you fight for a world that will never exist. Never. There will always be a battlefield. I will die in battle. Of that I'm certain. Now hopefully, a battle of my choosing. But, if it be this one, grant me a favor: don't bury me in our sad little cemetery.Burn me.Burn me, and cast my ashes to a strong east wind. Cerdic: Arthur, wherever I go on this wrenched island, I hear your name. Always half whispered, as if you were, uh, God. All I see is flesh, blood. No more God than the creature you're sitting on. Bors: I like the little nerfherders. They mean something to me. Especially Number Three! He's a good fighter! Lancelot: That's because he's mine.

Roethlisberger 0 Posted October 23, 2004 (edited) Frank Zappa's take on his band's biographical Trivia: I was born in Baltimore, Maryland. December 21, 1940 and grew up in California. I am a self-taught musician composer, blah, blah, blah. When I was 11 years old, I was 5'7" with hairy legs, pimples and a mustache...for some strange reason they'd never let me be the captain of the softball team. Got married at 20...a lovely girl: almost ruined her life, filed for divorce, moved into my recording studio, joined forces with Ray, Jim and Roy, schemed and plotted for a year, working in beer joints, blah, blah, blah, starved alot, etc., played a lot of freaky music and stayed vastly unpopular (though notorious)... Ray used to be a carpenter and bartender and sung with some other band...he's been singing R&B for 10 or 12 years. Jim got fired by some idiot band in Kansas, forcing him to move to California. Lucky for us. Seems he just couldn't get turned on playing "Louie, Louie," all night...it must have hurt him deeply when they rejected him. Roy is an asthmatic Pachuco, good-natured, excellent baseplayer. He is unbelieveably tolerant. I don't understand it. Elliot digs the blues. He has a big dimple on his chin. We made him grow a beard to cover it up. He just got out of the army. Lucky for the army. THEY ARE ALL MUSICIANS. ------------------------------- Frank Zappa's notes on his song "Go Cry On Somebody Else's Shoulder": "Go Cry On Somebody Else's Shoulder" is very greasy. You should not listen to it. You should were it on your hair. Edited October 23, 2004 by Mr Mojo Risin
Roethlisberger 0 Posted October 25, 2004 *Jon Stewart is talking to his interviewer about the folly News Channel Slogans* Interviewer: We at CBS news don't have a slogan. Jon Stewart: Yeah you do. Interviewer: What is it? Jon Stewart: "May Cause Drowsiness *Samantha Bee is interviewing a Republican from Montana at the Republican Convention* Samantha Bee: Have you gotten your picture taken with a black person yet? Rep: No, but it sounds like a good idea. Samantha Bee: There aren't any black people where you come from, huh? Rep: Well, no...Actually almost none. My kids were pretty old before they saw one.
