Disney Infinity developing Star Wars add-on

Disney are planning to bring their Star Wars and Marvel properties into the Disney Infinity experience with new toy packs.Despite recently announcing lay-offs from Disney Interactive Studios, Disney is reportedly pushing ahead with plans to release Disney Infinity toys for both the Star Wars and Marvel franchises.

For those who have not played Disney Infinity, the game requires an "infinity base" connected to your console, on to which you place collectible toys and power "discs" that tell the game what to do, and drops your chosen character in an open world of missions to complete how you want. There are already a multitude of sets to chose from, including Toy Story, Pirates of the Caribbean, Nightmare Before Christmas, and many more.

Infinity received mostly positive praise from critics, and has sold more than three million starter packs since it was released last year. The addition of Star Wars and Marvel will undoubtedly provide a hefty sales boost to an already popular product.

Microsoft have announced that a new slew of classic Xbox titles will become compatible with their Xbox One console, including an impressive collection of Star Wars games which will join other titles in the Games On Demand section of the Xbox marketplace on 26 April 2018.
The original Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic was previously added when the backwards compatible section was launched last year.
You can find the full list of Star Wars games that will be available on Xbox Games On Demand below:

    • Marvel's Netflix shows

Netflix have done quite a few Marvel shows now, starting with Daredevil, then Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and now Iron Fist. Has anybody else been keeping up with them?
Iron Fist is just out and I've found it okay so far, although apparently critics are slamming it. The main gripe appears to be about 'cultural appropriation', because apparently it's unacceptable for a white American man to learn martial arts...
But anyway, I've been enjoying it as I have liked all the Netflix offerings for the Marvel Cinematic Universe so far.
This is all, of course, leading up to The Defenders which will see the continuity of each individual series link up.
