Bad furday 57 Posted April 4, 2013 Lol, so today I was signing up to a new jobs website I hadn't seen before, and clicked the "I may consider continuing my education" box to show employers I'm keeping my options open, and within 30 minutes, I've received two phone calls, one from the site, and another from the Pittsburgh Art Institute. Bad furday 57 Posted April 4, 2013 Yay, and more than a little strange Also, the site uses a weird algorithm that puts your location search as your local address... so the site representative thought I lived in Universal City, CA, while in reality, that's where I was searching for jobs ( because I hadn't searched that location before, and it turns out it's a hub of film and creative industry jobs). Princess 35 Posted April 11, 2013 I wish the writing center could do more than 50 minutes at a time of reviewing your paper. I'm sending it in for the 3rd time and they're starting on page 17 of 35. Bad furday 57 Posted April 11, 2013 I've decided to rework my arts portfolio, because for a while, I hadn't made anything new...Still going for an illustration/design type job, but I'm thinking that instead of sending out resumes and such, I should put my works into a small book and mail that out along with a resume, it might be more effective....
