Ayingel 24 Posted August 5, 2010 idk...i've had that happen too the REAL question is...why while taking a higher dosage of hypnotics am i more coherent during my dentist visit today than i was with a less dosage last week? does laughing gas really do that much? Ayingel 24 Posted August 6, 2010 solved the mystery of my pills. turns out i can't remember much of yesterday at the dentist. only that it was awful :(
James the Defender 7 Posted August 6, 2010 I hate the dentist! What possesses people to get into sado-masochism...? Caity and I will be away for three days. We have a religious convention in Reading, PA. Three days of solid biblical instruction! We'll be back Sunday evening. I'll pop on to tell y'all we're back. Be good for three days; don't do anything I wouldn't do. Peace out!
Uncle Du 22 Posted August 6, 2010 Be good for three days; don't do anything I wouldn't do. Damn, that pretty much rules out my daily life. ;)
Bad furday 57 Posted August 7, 2010 solved the mystery of my pills. turns out i can't remember much of yesterday at the dentist. only that it was awful I'm disappointed that it wasn't old man Smithers in a scary mask, keeping people away from the abandoned quarry....and handing out pills. And same here Uncle Du, same here Sis flew out to Cali yesterday...she's in Sacremento with her boyfriend and his family. I was at grandma's house, finding files on her computer that she thought she'd lost/misplaced, and therefore missed all the excitement. Turns out out van had transmission trouble on the way to the Elmira airport, but luckily it was close enough to home that mum called the dealer and they said to bring it in, and not drive it. Lucky too they had a loaner car to give them...but now it'll be about $5,000 for a new transmission...but the resale on the van a (2002 Odyssey) is only going to be around $9,000+...so it seems like a new van is the better investment, as the folks were hoping to get at least five or six more years out of it ( what with sis in college now, and younger brother going in a few years). James the Defender 7 Posted August 8, 2010 We're back...not that we want to be. I want more instruction. 3 days in spiritual paradise...now I come back to this nightmare people call "the real world." I tasted the real world this weekend...and I already miss it. :(

Ouch. If all the regular maintenence has been kept up to date on the van, the transmission should take care of it for a while anyway. Just make sure to get whatever waranty you can on the transmission.

Pandora 77 Posted August 10, 2010 Okay, it's official: I have missed work over this stupid knee injury. I called out yesterday and I'd like to call out again.
