Bad furday 57 Posted June 28, 2008 Randomness... So anyone who has a Yahoo email account.....I think it's spam... Someone's going around saying that Yahoo will close selected email accounts due to anonymous registrations clogging the system. ( eh? Say again in plain DOS, willya?) and that your addy has been selected to be shut down. The message goes on to say that it has been sent to every Yahoo mail user, and that to keep your account, you need to reply with the following filled out. User name ( wouldn't they have that on file?) Password (and this too?) Country ( and this?) Something that i forget. ( moo?) "Oh really?" I thought, "Let's see." So I logged in to my other Yahoo mail account and no such message was recieved. The sender is also not an official Yahoo addy....it's one for Verizon. So.
