Ayingel 24 Posted May 30, 2005 so, i emailed that last thing i said to the founder of the site, and this is what he said: we merely refer to the words and deeds of celebs...it's our money, right? If George Lucas won't support America, why should we support him? Sith is #2 this week...hmmmm i replied saying: Who ever said George Lucas isn't supporting America? The fact is, Star Wars is a movie, and a very popular one at that. It doesn't mean anything that it has fallen to #2. It is still making more money that most (if not all) movies. Did you ever think that another movie has come out and people are going to see that one because they have heard a lot of good things about that movie as well? I just think that you are being a little too over critical on successful movies. You could always remind him of the fact that big successful movies are good for your economy. oooh...i'll remember that one...i'll see if he emails me over the rest of the weekend. if not, then i'll send something

Uncle Du 22 Posted May 30, 2005 So I just got a free ticket to see Ep. III! And the ticket itself is a cool collectible which no one here will have but me. Don't worry, when I get home, I'll scan it, so I can rub it in everyone's face. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! :D

Uncle Du 22 Posted June 1, 2005 huh?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?! How? Where? Why? How come I don't have one? Because you're not at fleet Week...and you're not a Sailor. But the ticket was good for me and a guest. And I had no one to go with. :(

Tsl 7 Posted June 1, 2005 So.....did anyone else come away from the movie with the idea that Palpatine is Anakin's daddy....of sorts? Just wondering if I'm crazy or not. "Blah blah....use midiclorians to create life blah blah" "He has no father..."
Andy 60 Posted June 1, 2005 I contemplated that, but I think that if that had have been Lucas's intention he would have told us. Although he does say "I need your help, son" to Ani. :p
Radioactive Isotope 29 Posted June 1, 2005 that was a ploy to gain his trust and ultimately turn him, silly. :p

Ayingel 24 Posted June 1, 2005 so wait...just to inform you guys on the anti-Star Wars site, the guy hasn't emailed me for a few days to answer my question as to where he got that George Lucas quote. i think that whole thing was blown out of proportion on their end. Skywalker 0 Posted June 2, 2005 So.....did anyone else come away from the movie with the idea that Palpatine is Anakin's daddy....of sorts? Just wondering if I'm crazy or not. "Blah blah....use midiclorians to create life blah blah" "He has no father..." That never struck my mind. Probably because my focus was on my HATRED for Emperor Palpatine. I HATE HIM. I wish Anakin cut his head off with a lightsaber in episode VI. Anyways, no I doubt he is. Though they never say who he is. But I thought they said his father died. Drake 53 Posted June 2, 2005 In Episode I, Shmi said that there was no father. Anakin was conceived of the Force.
