Alexander 0 Posted October 12, 2004 I'd kill for your healthcare system, then I'd have them revive my victim, so he can partake in great health care as well.
Tsl 7 Posted October 12, 2004 Well, as to culture, I can only say that Canadians in general seem friendlier than Americans in general (except at Niagara Falls....those were some bitter people, lol). I haven't been through alot of big cities (Dayton, Cincinnati, Columbus Ohio mostly), but walking around the middle of Toronto, I didn't feel unsafe, nor did I see gang signs spray painted on the side of every building and groups of suspicious looking thugs milling about on street corners. ^^
Drake 53 Posted October 12, 2004 Well, at least Britain, France, the US, Russia, Greece, and Rome have interesting histories of violence and thought. The closest thing the Canadians have to violence is telling the French Canadians French is bad and the closest thing they have to thought is combining American accents with British spellings. You want the violent stuff? Okay, I'll put some up for you. All of the wars with the natives, the Metis uprising, the Seven Years War and the Battle of the Plains of Abraham...where my ancestor, Major General James Wolfe, led the British to victory. I'll get into WWI and WWII later...

CorSec 5 Posted October 12, 2004 Concerning our history? Yeah. I think it's boring. Certainly was boring when we learned it. The World Wars perked it up.

GI_Admiral 2 Posted October 12, 2004 *Takes out a hockey stick* To slash or not to slash, that is the question... Whether tis nobler in the mind to suffer the lasers and chokes of outrageous sith or to take arms against a sea of canadians... and by opposing end them? To injure, to maim... No more, and by maiming to say we end the heartache and the thousand natural shocks that haunt the US. Tis a consummation Devoutly to be wished...to injure, to maim... To maim, perchance to kill! ay...tis good... Thank you thank you...i'll be here all week
