TheUnknown 39 Posted April 21, 2004 What is everyone's definition of a sport? Mine is any game that involves lots of physical activity, strength, or endurance that is played for competition. So, poker, chess, auto racing, horse racing, etc are not sports by my definition because they involve little physical activity.

TheUnknown 39 Posted April 21, 2004 Physical activity DURING the actual event. With auto racing, they drive around. With horse racing, the horses do most of the work.
chozen 1 Posted April 21, 2004 (edited) Mine is any game that involves lots of physical activity, strength, or endurance that is played for competition. So is a stripping competiition a sport? What the hell?? Drivers and jockeys go through LOTS of physical training. But they don't do 'lots of physical activity' whilst driving, the driving is the sport not the trainin.. If I'm right. and don't worry, it's just his, Unknowns, personal definition. What about dog racing.. Is that a sport? Edited April 21, 2004 by Chozen
