I am furious and about to have a mental ewoking breakdown. I just got fired from my job because I got a severe allergic reaction to a wasp sting and couldn't drive to work. I was screamed at by my boss, he didn't even call the other five employees to see if they could cover the shift and then he fired me when I was telling him I could try to get my dad or grandmother to drive me DESPITE the fact that I was shaking like a leaf and was about to pass out. So now I have no job, no income and credit collectors breathing down my neck. On top of which, I'm having a difficult time trying to find a new job. woohoo go me.

so last week tuesday, i got a phone call from mayo clinic telling me that i have an appointment today at 7:00. not receiving my itinerary packet, i assumed no eating after six and all that fun stuff. this morning, i get to the hospital and headed to the bloodwork desk. they told me that i wasn't scheduled for this week (they couldn't see anything listed under my patient number?!) and asked me if i was sure. i told them yes, and they said they'd call up to the doctor and make sure that i was supposed to be scheduled. they call me back over and send me upstairs to the urology floor to figure out what the hell was going on. the receptionist (not the secretary) told me that i wasn't scheduled. i told her that i was and that i spoke to the secretary on tuesday about it. she told me that the secretary wouldn't be in until 8, so i'd have to call her then. by this time, i was pretty pissed. i hadn't eaten in over 13 hours, i had a headache, and this was about the last straw. at 7:30 i get a phonecall from the secretary saying she had all my paperwork and that she just needed to schedule a couple more things after 8. i said that was fine and headed on my merry little way to get bloodwork, x-rays, and an ekg. please keep in mind that when i finished it was 9 and i still hadn't eaten anything. i ended up going back up to the urology desk and waiting for over half an hour to get my new itinerary, only to find out that i have to fast yet again tonight (this time excluding a lot of water) get a special x-ray at 7am, and then meet with the cardiologist at noon. that was all fine until i looked at the bottom of that page and found out that i wasn't meeting with my doctor now until the 15th. i'm sorry, i've only been trying to get in to see him for the past month. so yeah, i'm SO fine with waiting another week and a half when i'm in pain. not only that, they're telling me that if i have more chest pain that i need to go to their er in rochester which is over and hour from where i live. way to keep gas mileage low, eh? not to mention that i had to deal with my b****y mother all morning since she was pretty pissed about all of this too.

So I get home from classes yesterday to my villa only to find out that the bathroom that me and another girl share is completely torn out...there are workers everywhere in our house (that dont speak english, mind you...), and our bathroom fixtures in a pile out in the upstairs sitting room They didnt even tell us they were gonna do this! So now we have no bathroom (good thing there are four other bathrooms in our villa), there's dirt/sand everywhere, and our sitting area's filled with bathroom fixtures :(
