another reason my job sucks balls. whoever was supposed to work the morning shift today for whatever reason didn't come to work. so the scheduling people are all frantic trying to find someone to cover him. i was scheduled to come in at 2pm, but i get out of class at 12pm, so i told them i could be in by 1pm if no one else volunteered. well, no one else volunteered. i even got out a bit early, so i was at work at 11:10am and i won't get to go home until 9pm. that's a little under 10 hours. yet i can't get ANYONE to cover for me for TWO LOUSY SHIFTS when i go to New Orleans next week FOR SCHOOL. i just found out we had the money so i could go last week. i know it's short notice, but it's not the day of. jerks.
