Okay, here's the deal. I'm in Film and TV Production at college. At the moment, I'm living with two other people in the course. Unfortunately, it turns out that all three of us have different schedules and end up having our Film and TV labs on different days. During the next few weeks in Film, we're shooting 30 second commercials. Okay...now for the rant...

My housemate JT happens to be directing today's commercial. Guess what...they're filming it in our house. Guess what...they all came here at 8:30 am. Guess what else...their first shots are in JT's room........WHICH IS RIGHT NEXT TO MINE! So here I am, on my DAY OFF, getting woken up at 8:30 in the morning. Bloody hell.

So yeah, the girl that asked me to homecoming...didn't get a ticket. And is now on the waiting list. So now I may be going to homecoming dateless.

And I wasn't even going to go in the first place until Lucy asked me to it.

We can't. They make us put our names on them and they're not transferrable.

She's in my lunch tomorrow. If she's magically able to get one because she's on the waiting list, then I'll go. Otherwise, I'll probably turn my ticket in. I was supposed to go to a campout this weekend anyway.

Listen to the Wise Beeurd. Listen, and pay heed. Be cool and do something else with her. Get out, man. Live a little.

I hadn't thought of that. I think I will.

If she doesn't get a ticket though, I'm gonna be bored out of my mind at a dance I didn't really want to go to. :(

Totally.

Homecoming is boring anyway. It's much more fun to do whatever you want.

Heck, my senior year, my friends and I skipped out on the dance and went to see The Count of Monte Cristo instead. :p

I've had trouble with my computer setup a lot this year. The internet bugged out when I installed an Airport Express instead of the Airport, and then would just fritz on regular intervals. Only now it's gone out and won't come back. I spent all yesterday trying everything I knew to fix it, then called tech support. They poked around, then took my wireless router back down to their center, played with it, and said that it was fine, so the problem is in the wiring. That means that I have to call the telecom people and they have to come down and most likely make a hole in the wall. My roommates are blaming it all on me. It's not my fault the wires aren't properly connected inside the walls dammit! They'd be having the same problem if I hadn't brought a wireless router and we were all on cables. And I don't think that this expense is covered by dorm housing. Roomies sure as heck aren't gonna chip in. This sucks.

Okay, so I finnally figured everything out.

I'm about 95% sure I have Social Anxiety Disorder. As I was leaving gym the idea hit me that maybe that's why I always feel sick to my stomach when I'm at social things. Maybe that's why I'm always second guessing every single word I say, hoping I didn't humiliate myself, but knowing that I did. I realized that it made perfect sense that I might have SAD. When I got home, I looked at this to compare the symptoms listed to what I've been experiencing since the 6th grade. It's a perfect match.

I walk through the halls of school and I don't know anyone. I see people like my friend Jim, who's friends with everyone he knows. I hear people talking about fun stuff they do with their friends outside of school, and I wish that that could be me. When I'm on a team, while everyone else is bonding, and becoming a real team, I'm left in the corner wishing I could be part of that. Everytime I'm talking with someone, I second guess everything I say before I say it. If someone doesn't laugh at a joke or suddenly stops talking, I beat myself up over it. I just. ewok.

I ewokING HATE THIS!
