I hate being Low man on the totem! We got a test for fetal lung maturity from the next county over and the quick and easy test called baby borderline, but could we talk the doctor into waiting until morning for the 3 hour long test? Nooooo, of course not. So at 2200 I start the sucker and finally get to leave at 0045. And lungs weren't mature, baby needs a few more days anyways

For my lovely rant of the day, all I'm going to say is that it is pretty pathetic when the guy I asked out-and-he-said-no (he likes my friend) and is in a group with my friends, asks me why I wasn't in their Science group. He asks me, and my "friends" don't even spare me a glance, much less a hello. I felt so pathetic right then, I still feel pathetic now. I thought things hadn't gotten better, but I guess they haven't.

By now, gaming fans should know that November 1st is not only the release date for the Episode III DVD, but also the day the sequel to the most successful Star Wars videogame of all time comes out. Star Wars Battlefront II is coming out for Xbox, PlayStation 2, PC and Sony PSP.

Battlefront was sithe, it's one of the only SW games I couldn't even be arsed to buy.

...i hate freshman. they come in, thinking they know what they're doing...and they don't even have the common sense to check the tech list!! ewoking a...i walked into practice today (not on tech duty) and go to turn on the switches for the stage, and one of the box switches is broken! oh no, it isn't just that the stopper was TAKEN OFF with a screwdriver (better than being snapped off), no, they pulled the lever too hard and has taken it off of the hinge. we have a play in three and a half weeks, a hole in the ceiling that is leaking water, and now we have NO lights on the stage. i don't think they even told a janitor, or an advisor (which they obviously did not have with them at skit practice). so we have a cast of twenty people (one of them an extremely mad head tech) who have no light on stage with which to see anything and a director who is ready to slit throats. i wouldn't be so mad if they told someone, or even if they had left the stopper on...because then we'd at least be able to get into the box and flip the circuits...because that is the only way to turn on the black box that holds all the circuits. *insert profanity of your choice here*

So...like, I finally worked up the balls to email my boss about just a tiny part of the numerous scheduling problems that are wearing me down at an alarming rate. I pretty much got told that I would be screwed in favor of pool employees as a matter of routine.

I'm full time. Pool employees, for those who don't know, are required to work only 36 hours over a 6 week period. The intended purpose is for stay at home mom types to keep in the field and fill in holes in the schedule. Or so I thought.

Yet I have to work extra days because some pool chick decides to randomly sign up over top of me on my assigned weekend.

Y'know, if I didn't love the unit and my coworkers I'd go somewhere else. I mean seriously, I could walk into any hospital and get hired right then and there. Whatever...

WHY did they do the fire drill when I was in the shower? It was freaking cold outside. And got my robe all wet so I had to return to my room in my towel.
