Curse the fact that the only girl that I get a bite from is the one who happens to be the serious girl friend of one of my best friends. Curse the fact that everytime she gets drunk at a party she comes and starts trying to start something with me, until I quickly manage to talk her down before my buddy walks in. Curse the fact that she was in the Miss-Montana paegant and thus very good looking, and hard to resist. I don't know what to do, maybe I'll tell her I'm a unic.

Not quite.... Some parents do get in trouble for the way they raise their kids...

Like the family that disiplined their 7 year old by making him stand in a scalding hot shower for several minutes.

ANd the mom that threw her 6 mo. old down the stairs.

And the mom that picked her newborn up by the leg and slamed it into the ground as hard as she could.....

I'm tellin my kids the same thing that my mom told me when I was being a brat and telling her that she couldn't spank me cuz I'd call child welfare. "You go ahead and call that number and you'll be taken away and put with some family that doesn't love you and you'll have it worse off there than you do here." In other words, my children will be spanked if they step out of line. It's not like I'm beating them or anything, but sometimes a swat to the backside is necessary

Have you ever seen someone being incredibly stupid out in public and just wanted to backhand them so badly?

I was at McDonalds today getting dinner when this stupid lady got in line behind me. Everything out of this woman's mouth was a complaint. She ordered her food, complained about the drinks being too big. "I didn't realize the large drinks would be big!" she says. Duh.

Then she starts loudly complaining that the drive thru people are getting served first. She didn't seem to understand the concept of waiting her turn.

And she continually made snooty comments suggesting that she'd never set foot in a McDonalds before because it was so beneath her to eat at a fast food place with the rest of us peasants. She pretended to not understand how the place worked, or what the food choices were, or how to order....what a loser.

Stoopid lady. I was so happy when they brought my food and I could get outta there.

I personally would not spank my child...there are other ways of going about it....but I do see why some choose to. There are upside and downsides to everything.

LOL, I remember those days.

Here's a good McDonalds story: I was working one of the front registers on any given Saturday, when this guy and who I assume was his wife came in. They looked normal enough, talking about what they wanted, whatever. My buddy next to me ended up taking their order, and the guy stepped up to order, told my buddy what he wanted, then turned and asked his wife what she wanted. She made some smart assed comment or something, kinda like the way all wives jibe their husbands, and without hesitation, the guy back-handed this woman right in the face. Everyone that witnessed it was in shock. Everyone except my buddy taking the order. Without hesitation, he grabbed a broom, lept over the counter, and smashed the handle of the broom over this guys noggin. The dude crumpled to the ground, and his wife, or whoever she was started cryin. It was all could do to not cheer outloud. It was the coolest thing I had ever seen.

Of course, the cops came, asked the woman if she wanted to press charges, and of course she said no. The dude did try and press charges against my buddy, but the cops said if he didn't break out, they'd find a reason to take him to jail. The advantages of being from a small town.
