4. "Where is the Love?"--Black Eyed Peas People got me, got me questioning: "Where is the Love?"

WHAAAAT!?

I'm sorry but I can't stand that song. It makes me want to kill myself its so terrible... lol

I cried the first time I heard it.. It's really moving... and sith.

Audioslave, White Stripes, Sevendust... not bad selections.

White Stripes for sure... Top, top band...

Anything by Red Hot Chilli Peppers

I do believe that she has quite a decent taste in music.... *Thumbs up for chillip peppers*

Cold play also deserve the thumbs.. In my head and clockz...

1. You live in Britain. Very few of them are well-known there.

Or that they're copying the same cold play/ blur/ manic streets/ unclassified rock crap... I can't stand bands that constantly repeat themeselves, coming out with the same old same old. It gets boring.

Like evanescence I liked them at first.. After their second song... pfft..

O' Brother, Where Art Thou?: I loved the movie and I loved the music. George Clooney, John Turturro and Tim Blake Nelson are excellent.

That's a great film. I saw it about a month back.

Life: I can't be asked to get into a speach about it.

Fett's Top Ten funniest movies ever made:

1. Monty Python and the Holy Grail- The Most quotable movie ever. I can't think of King Arthur anymore without thinking of the Knights who say Ni. Or the naughty Frrrench. Or burning witches. Or swamp castle. OrTim the Enchanter. Or the Bridge of Death. Or coconuts. "She Turned me to a newt! Well, I got better!"

2. Blazing Saddles- Hilarious parody via Mel Brooks. Entire cast gives a great performance. Especially Gene Wilder and Madeline Kahn. "Mongo only pawn in game of life."

3. Dr Strangelove: Or, How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb!- dark comedy about nuclear holocaust. Great performances by Peter Sellers (in 3 roles!) and George C. Scott. "No fighting! This is the war room!"

4. The Producers- A Mel Brooks movie about a play that was made into a play about a play based on a movie about a play. In 2005, the play about a play based on a movie about a play will be turned into a movie about a play based on a play about...well, you get it. Highlights: Hilarious Performances by Gene Wilder, Zero Mostel, Dick Shawn (as a hippy casted to play Hitler in the surefire flop) and Kenneth Mars. The songs are hilarious as well. "Springtime for Hitler and Germany. Winter for Poland and France."

5. Airplane!- A hilarious parody. Parodies everything from Saturday Night Fever to The Deer Hunter. Gleefully random. Strangely literal. "I picked a bad time to stop sniffing glue!"

6. Duck Soup - The best Marx Brothers comedy. The funniest scene is when Harpo breaks a mirror that belongs to Groucho, so he has to put on a fake mirror and mimic Groucho's exact movements so he doesn't get caught.

"I can dance with you 'til the cows come home. On second thought, I'd rather dance with the cows until you come home!"

7. Monty Python's Life of Brian- Now the Python crew skewers the Bible. The best scene is a botched stoning. Other hilarious scenes include Brian accepting to be the Messiah so people would leave him alone.

"I am not the Messiah!"

"Only the true Messiah would deny his divinity!"

"Alright then, I am the Messiah!"

"He is the Messiah!"

"Now f*** off!"

*pause*

"How shall we f*** off, o' Lord?"

8. Young Frankenstein- Gene Wilder and Mel Brooks again collaborate. Wilder should've gotten an Oscar nomination.

"Put the candle back!"

9. This Is Spinal Tap - The original mockumentary. This movie will make you piss in your pants. Unless you are a 40+ year old woman.

"These go to 11"

10. Monty Python's Meaning of Life - The best gross out comedy ever. The movie is broken up into the segments of life: Birth, Growth, Fighting Each Other, Middle Age, Live Organ Transplants, and Death. They are all so funny!

"Don't just stand there like you haven't seen the Hand of God before!"

Wow.. They're some mighty crappy comedy films in that list.. I could name 10 better ones if I could be asked.

Blazing Saddles is great though.. If that's the film where the black guy pretend to be part of the KKK.. To sign up to help the evil guy.

Well.. The monty python films are good.. But not the funniest films ever.

Mafia's good.. And so is Hotshots..

Some I haven't seen... But some I wouldn't put in the top ten.

Mafia! is not one of the funniest films ever. It is funny, but all of the films on that list are funnier. Hotshots would be on a bigger list of mine, but I'm narrowing it down to 10.

Ghostbusters???? Your choice of it on the top 10 comedies is mind numbingly funny in it's own right.. Pity the film wasn't.

All the movies I listed are on AFI's 100 Funniest Films (except for the Python films, which are British, therefore ineligible.) Ghostbusters was a very funny movie. The sequel was not.

Haven't seen the full results, but I hear that RotK won 4 awards and The Office on 2.

Anyone ever seen The Office? I haven't, but everyone says I should.

Anyways, looks like you Americans still enjoy a bit of British comedy! :D

Brilliant.. It's great.. Really sadistic and so much humour on many different levels. I'm glad it won something!

He's okay. But it works really well in that program. Although I hear they're making an American version of the show.. Like they did with coupling.

i enjoyed Master and Commander. now i want to read all the books (yes, it is a series). i also thought the new Peter Pan movie was excellent. but then, i'm just a big kid at heart, and Peter Pan's always been one of my favorites.

I'm big on Finding Nemo, RotK, Lost In Translation and MAC.

Nemo can win screenplay (I wouldn't mind if LIT won this either). LIT can win actor. MAC can win sound. ROTK will win Picture and Director and maybe adapted screenplay.
