Brumak 2 Posted November 19, 2006 (edited) Hehe, sexcellent, I didn't figure there were many people who used that one. I'm surprised my brother hasn't done this one yet... Gears of War Grade- Holy sith Awesome!! (That's an A by the way) This is definitely a game that you all need to play. Well, if you're into gory, action packed, beautiful looking, easily controllable shooters. I read a review that gave the plot of this game a thumbs down, but all I have to say is, he's a friggin magazine editor, and we can't trust them as far as we can throw them. The gameplay is incredible, and the story line is awesome. The game ends with you wanting more, which can some times be a bad thing, but not in this case. It leaves off perfectly for at least one more game, and while I can't wait for it to come out, this one has definitely not gotten old yet. The replay value is tremendous. While I generally suck at these types of games, that is easily remedied with the co-op mode if you have an experienced player playing with you (As in my case). Co-op play is probably the best I've seen so far, other than, of course, the Halo series. I could go on and on about the wonders of this game, but the best way to experience it is to play it. Granted, having a 360 is necessary, but as someone who has never really thought of Microsoft in the highest regards when it comes to console gaming, this does make me a believer. I would honestly get a 360 just for this game. If I had the money. You know...I'm actually surprised I didn't review this... You'd think I would have lol But...there is a reason behind why I didn't review it. I didn't really want to review a game that I've been looking forward to more than a Halo game.... For me to review Gears pf War would be like Peter Jackson reviewing the first of the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. It would be waaaay to biased. I've been waiting for GoW for over a year....and since I read the first description of the game, and I knew of the basic elements of gameplay from the beginning....there isn't really much I can say about it. The game lived up to what they boasted about....and way more. To suffice....GoW = Halo 2 x 25. Thus.....Gow - PWNS Halo. (I don't care how your math figures that out.....just know that GoW is what Halo envisioned + so ewoking much more) Edited November 19, 2006 by V!?
Andy 60 Posted November 19, 2006 I'll remember to get it when the port it to some other format.

Drake 53 Posted November 19, 2006 My girlfriend picked up the Wii this morning to combat my 360. We havn't played it yet but I must say the stuff people say about it is pretty cool. The sucker is friggin' light too.
Radioactive Isotope 29 Posted November 19, 2006 heh. i saw people camping outside a Best Buy in Indiana last night waiting for either the Wii or the PS3. sillies.
Andy 60 Posted November 19, 2006 Doubt that will happen... Well, they won't be getting my money then, will they? :p
Brumak 2 Posted November 20, 2006 And what's so wrong about about going out and buying a 360 Granted GoW is a must have....but there are a ton of good games for it that are worth the price of the 360 :p
Uncle Du 22 Posted November 21, 2006 Yea, but overall, the PS3 is cheaper. Cause once you upgrade the 360 for WiFi, HD DvD and all wireless controllers, it costs more than the $599 version of the PS3 which has all that stuff built right in.
Radioactive Isotope 29 Posted November 21, 2006 oorrrrr, you could try this outrageous idea and go play outside for free. :p
Andy 60 Posted November 21, 2006 oorrrrr, you could try this outrageous idea and go play outside for free. There must be a catch. Nothing is free. :p
Uncle Du 22 Posted November 22, 2006 Yea, but who wants to play outside in this crappy weather. That's why video games were invented...for bad weather.
Ayingel 24 Posted November 23, 2006 Movie: Happy Feet Grade: A Comments: soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo *breathes* oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cute! robert says i squeaked every time i saw a baby penguin.
Ayingel 24 Posted November 23, 2006 Game: Resistance Console: PS3 Rating: A Comments: A very realistic game. You can completely shoot out windows, shoot concrete barriers to the point where they fall apart. Gameplay really pulls you into it. The storyline plays really well...I remember seeing ads for the game and thinking that it was a movie. Some of the action feels a little overdone, but that's probably just because I'm female. Uncle Du 22 Posted November 23, 2006 Finally, a real review, from a real person. Till now, all I've read about the game was in magazines, but it's nice to hear something more concrete from someone I know...in a strictly online sense. Especially from a girl. :D

Ayingel 24 Posted November 25, 2006 Finally, a real review, from a real person. Till now, all I've read about the game was in magazines, but it's nice to hear something more concrete from someone I know...in a strictly online sense. Especially from a girl. ^-^ glad to be of service here's another one... Game: Ridge Racer 7 Console: PS3 Rating: B Comments: There's just something about the AI that Chris, Robert, and I all agree is off. The other cars don't act the way yours done when it and it provides an unfair advantage when racing. All else aside, it's a decent game.

Drake 53 Posted November 25, 2006 (edited) oorrrrr, you could try this outrageous idea and go play outside for free. I like how the Wii has a loading screen that says something along the lines of..."Why don't you pause your game and take a break?" and then it shows you a picture of the outside through a window. I just ignore it and play more Zelda. Then I switch to my 360 and play GoW. Then I watch cartoons and play World of Warcraft. Freakin sweet. Hmmm...here we go... http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=2964751562925463883 Edited November 25, 2006 by Drake
