And Greek dogs say something like "Wav!" That's what another teacher was saying. He said that English-speakers hear "woof" Japanese hear "bow-wow" and Greek hear "Wav!" But the dogs all bark the same way, we just hear it differently. The sad thing is I don't know if that kid was kidding or not.
