Bad furday 57 Posted February 1, 2004 From a post on the Speedchannel boards, discussing Canadiens on WindTunnel... Oh how embarrassing. I wonder if the call screener picks the dumbest guys just to embarrass us. I have seen 5 callers from Canada. 2 were complete and utter buffoons-complete with "how's it goin' eh hoser" phrases. Tim from the other night: what a fecking dork!!! 2 were slow talking old boys with a 10 minute "hey we love u Dave, thanks 4 the voice in racing" crap. 1 guy called from a club in Montreal during the f1 race cancellation panic asking Helton about an NASCAR race for Montreal. Dumb question but the fellah had half a brain. Dave: Don't take any more calls from Canada, I can't take the agony! And to my fellow Canadians that actually say EH and HOSER: DON'T SAY IT ON WINDTUNNEL, YOU ARE EMBARRASING 31 MILLION PEOPLE! And a reply... I hadn't really noticed this quality in canadians before your mentioning it. But I will look out for it. Thanks! I have really only found canadians to be a cruel and heartless people, full of rage. They are purely cold-hardened task masters, with abusive natures. They give nothing but expect your full attention and effort. Of course my knowledge of this comes from limited experience. I've only known one canadian whom I happen to be married to. And a worthwhile piece of information... Being on tv tends to reduce people to blithering idiots, no matter how intelligent they are in everyday life.
