Oh man Opie season looks like it's gonna be rough. Glad to see Phil back though and love what the Hilstrands did to Jake for stealing Jonathan's coat

So, I watched the 4th of July marathon this weekend and Time Bandit had a fresh water bird land on the ship and Jonathon was more worried about that bird than he was about his crew being stuck outside in bad weather. He named him Squaky and then made him a box and poured some water on him and took care of him. Then Jonathan got very upset when he put the box just outside the wheelhouse to get some fresh air and Squaky disappeared.

Russell did it to himself by always being the last one out on deck and hiding constantly in the sauna

My friend and his family are huge fans of the show.

If he were here, he'd say something along the lines of "I'm a huge fan of this show!"

But he's not, so instead I'll ask what's so exciting about catching crabs?

Feel free to play around with that unfortunate bit of phrasing as you wish.

It's seeing what boat does the best and the danger involved. Like tonight they're in the midst of a huge arctic storm and lots of boats are going to be in distress and at least one is going to wreck

I also like seeing the crabs themselves. I love eating crabs, particularly dungeness, which they don't catch on the show . I love to see the personality of these captains and their crews.

Blue crabs are my absolute favorite. I catch those myself, :D

I was so happy to see Keith and his men net the most crabs and purse the most money. They're my favorites.

Keith needs to refocus on the off season though. He almost killed his crew a couple of times.

So, I was watching the Swordfishing show today and this one guy quit on a boat and then they show him sitting in a bar with a guy who broke his wrist and it ended his season early and the guy that quit was all "Swordfishing is the hardest job out there. Those Bering Sea boys don't t got nothing on us." Now, I've watched both shows and from what I've seen crab fishing is much more dangerous than swordfishing.

I would definitely have to agree. I've seen some of the show, too, and crabbing is more dangerous. That Bering Sea is a terror. I can't wait for the new season!

I told my dad about it and he said that they should put that guy on the Northwestern or the Time Bandit and Sig or Jonathon will show him what it's all about.
