First Round

Sangheili Elite vs Yautija Predator

Combatants:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Predator_%28alien%29

http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Sangheili

Location: Temple Ruins

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Yautija stood on a large rock, contemplating. All around him was a huge circle of sand, with this rock in the middle. Huge pillars and archways encased this circle, and they glew with a metallic sheen. Despite their similairitys to anchient Greek and Roman arches and the infamous Stonehenge, they looked new. This was odd, as they were quite possibly 100,000 years old. How the Forerunners managed to keep their anchient structures and ruins clean even after their extinction was a mystery to the Yautija warrior.

However he had more important things to worry about. He along with a small group of his fellow hunters, had just been dropped off by their blood red drop-pods from their ship. This planet was full of prey including the very dangerous and deadly hard meat. The Hu-mans called them Xenemorphs apperantly. The name fit them, he thought darkly. Alien morphs indeed.

For a second, his hand extended to his forehead, where the mark of acid still stood as tribute of his first kill. He would never forget that day. For a second, his mandibles twitched. He growled. This was a moment to rest, to meditate! Right now he was supposed to get these things out of his mind, not begin to think of them and their horrible violent deeds. Just as he began to once again get into a meditative pose, he smelled a strange scent in the air and heard footsteps.

The Yautija very slowly reached for his helmet, the steel thing on the rock next to him. His reptilian hands firmly surrounded its metal casing, and he raised it to his head, then slipped it on. For a moment he heard the sound of air venting, and the beeping sound indicating power was returning to the visors HUD. He could see the red redicule already seeming to appear out of nowhere as his hemets Heads Up Display activated.

Satisfied that everything was working, he turned the helmets frequencie to thermal. The Predator was not bragging or overestimating himself when he thought he would have seen any approaching creature. He would have normally, and that meant there was only one way something could have stealthed its way to his now vunerable back.

Quickly he thought of the weapons he had. A smart disk strapped to his legs...his plasma caster on his shoulder. Wrist blades on his right hand, and a power glove on his other hand. And of course, the combi-stick on his now exposed back.

Suddenly, the huge alien became a blur. Even as he jumped and twisted in mid air, his wrist blades extended from his arm and he landed, the three blades pointed at the other aliens cloaked neck. "Reveal yourself. Now. I'm sure you know what this weapon is able to do." Slowly he watched as the outline of the alien shifted for a second, and then it appeared, looking like it had come right out of thin air.

The warrior inspected the other creature. It reminded him of himself. Four mandibles, a reptilian face, scales and the same general body shape. However, the creatures stance was less upright, and it had a longer neck and a more reptilian body and it was less bulky. Its armour was as white as the Yautias blazing sun, and he could tell by the creatures stance that it was probaly as dangerous as a Yautija female. The militery grade armour made it look all the more tough.

But it was the same general size of him. Skinnier though. "Who are you?" "I am Loa Kasunee. Sangheili Elite and General in the Covenant army." "Your purpose on this planet? I'm sure you've noticed our ship." "I came, along with my ship and crew to investigate the Forerunner ruins on this planet. Once my leaders the San 'Shyuum learned there was senitent life on this planet, they instructed me to find it." "Ah. The so called Covenant PROPHETS." He scoffed.

"Your tone of voice disturbs me. Do not speak of the Prophets in such tones." "Yes, yes. Why did your leaders want to find my hunting party?" "To convert you to our great religion! The Great Journey is upon the entire galaxy and all who believe shall be saved!" ''Surely you dont believe this?" "Of course I do! All that believe will walk the path!" "Let me guess. This path leads to salvation."

The Sangheili cocked its head, his eyes staring at the fellow warrior mere inches away. "Of course." The Yautija coughed. "Countless times you Covenant have approached our race. How many times have we explained that we have our own beliefs? And our own agenda! We have no time for your petty chase for the so called Sacred Rings or your pathetic dreams of Galactic Conquest. The hunt rules all! Now if you will excuse me, I must continue it."

He took a great delight as he glimpsed the Covenant soldier rearing back in shock. The things mandibles twitched, a clear sing of aggitation. A gasp exited his throat. However, he only caught this for a second as already he was turning around to walk away from his circle of sand so he could reunite with his brothers and resume the hunt. Slowly he began to cloack....

The Sangheilis cat-like eyes turned into slits, the orange hue resembled fire as a roar exited his mouth. In only three moments he had ran foward, rammed into the Yautija and pushed him as hard as he could. The alien hunter gasped as he was thrown through the air and fell into a large stream. Water surrounded him for a second.

He roared and rose, the cloaking field seeming to malfunction. Bits of him were exposed then cloacked again, sparks travelled across the field and soon he was visible again. His visor glowed yellow as the last of his cloacked body was revealed. In one move he had the smart disc in his hand, and in another it was sailing through the air towards the Elite.

What came next suprised him. Considering all the hunts he had been in, this was suprising in itself. The Sangheili jumped into the air and flipped around so his head looked down at where the smart disc was. However, the small disc changed its course and zoomed upwards, intent on cutting the Elite into tiny little pieces. Thankfully for the readers entertainment, thats not was happened.

Instead the aliens muscled hand grabbed the disc and he used it to jump upwards unto the top of one of the archways. The smart disc continued to go up, then glided down and to the left, intent on killing the Covenant soldier. However, the Elite jumped off the edge and it hit metal, sparks flying from it a second before it exploded. The Sangheili grabbed the arch with one hand and he hopped unto the archway again. He landed with a crash and barely managed to grip the surface with his four fingered hands so his head did'nt smash into the Forerunner alloy. By the way, all of this happened in about the time of about seven seconds.

Suddenly his head turned as he heard a menacing roar from below. The Elite sprang up and grabbed his two Plasma Rifles. He had no time to aim, instead he pointed the weapons where the noise had come from and fired. Globs of superheated plasma flew out of the dual weilded weapons, and the air hissed as the volcano hot projectiles flew through the air.

Plasma proved uneffective however. Only a few rounds hit their target, but it did'nt even phase him. The bulky alien jumped into the air and landed on the top of the archway with a crash. Somehow he managed to fall with hsi feet first, standing up as soon as he landed. He gave the Sangheili no reprieve however. He charged, his power glove flying towards the Sangheili's chest. It released a huge blast of energy, and sent the other alien flying.

His energy shields sputtered and died as he fell to the ground with a thud. The Sangheili sputtered and coughed for a second before he managed to get up. There, mere inches away from him was the Predators face. The Sangheili knew what he had become. Prey.

A wrist blade went sailing right towards his face. Not being defeated so easily Loa grabbed the arm the weapon was attached to and held it in place. The Predators other arm was about to fly foward before the Sangheili swung the Predator around and threw him into one of the pillars.

The creatures back was the part of the body that hit the Forerunner construction. There was an audible crack and for a second the Sangheili thought the Predator had a broken spine. Then it jumped up and its shoulder mounted Plasma Caster swiveled around, pointed right at the Sangheilis already battered and bruised chest. Not to be outdone, the Elite raised his Plasma Rifle.

They stared for eachother for what could have been hours, but was only mere minutes. Eventually the Sangheili grabbed his Energy Sword and jumped as a ball of plasma sailed towards him. He did not want to do a hands on test to see which species had better plasma weapons.

The Yautija warrior grabbed his Combi Stick and he raised it. They clashed, the Energy Sword for once not cutting through another weapon. They pushed eachother, their entire body weight going into their weapons. The Sangheili jumped back and swung the sword in a wide uppercut. However the Yautija held the Combi Stick foward and used it as a shield. The sword bounced off and the Yautija pushed the Sangheili in the chest with the spear.

The Sangheili growled and hit the Combi-Stick with his sword. The two stood with their weapons connected for a full minute, each pushing and sometimes disconnecting and trying to attack the other combatant with their weapon. Eventually the two weapons would be pushind against eachother again.

All this time the Yautija's Plasma Caster turned and eventually pointed right at the Sangheili's head. He realised his mistake too late and the weapon fired full blast right in his mandibled face. The alien was thrown into the air and spun like a rag doll before he plummeted to the ground. One of his last thoughts was *Their weapons are more powerful*

As the Yautija walked up to the crumpled and weakened Sangheili's body he heard the soldier reciting his Covenants union. "So full of hate were our eyes that none of us could see, our war would yeild countless dead but never victory. So let us cast our arms aside and like discard our wrath. Vow in faith shall keep us safe whilst we find the path." The Yautija was reminded of earlier when he finally spoke. "Let me guess. This path leads to salvation." The Sangheili looked at him then finally spoke. "I sure hope so." The Yautija chuckled for a moment before his Combi-Stick plunged into the Sangheili Elites unshielded and unarmoured chest.

"There is no path. Just the Black Warrior. Or as the Humans call him...the Grim Reaper. There is no salvation for you Loa Kasunee. Just death." The Predator stared at the lifeless corpse for a second then his hand gripped the Elites head. For a second he strained and then the Elites whole cranuim was ripped from the rest of the body. The Predator raised his trophy to the sky and roared.

What will happen next? Will a midget fight a fat lady? Probaly not! But expect such things as a Clone Commando against a Zerg, or perhaps the Enterprise against a Imperial Star Destroyer! If I'm feeling more insane then usual, I might even have a couple of Jurassic Park Raptors fight some Xenomorphs or Acklays! Stay in tune for the next battle!

Warning: Storys have no real plots and are not connected to eachother. They are just little storys for enjoyment. Just characters from different universes maiming eachother. The usual.

Andy

perhaps the Enterprise against a Imperial Star Destroyer!

Wouldn't that be like trying to swat a fly? (the Enterprise being the fly, of course) ;)

I am actually more of a fan of Star Wars, but the various incarnations of the Enterprise and her crew have faced alot more then Star Destroyers. Plus it is smaller, harder to hit and faster with weapons as strong if not more then the power of a Star Destroyers.

I would tend to agree, being a long-term fan of both camps.

Second Round

Imperial Military vs Xenomorph Aliens

Combatants:

Imperials:

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Imperial_Military

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Imperial_army

-------------------------------------------------------

Xenomorphs:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alien_%28Alien_franchise%29

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Location: Grassy Plains, Naboo

The things charged across the plains, dozens of the huge insectoid bipeds roaring and hissing as they darted through the grass, intent on murdering the Imperials on the other side of the plain. Stormtroopers almost immediatly began to fire at them, showering the area with blaster fire. Some of the projectiles hit the creatures skin, and they hissed as their acidic blood fell, burning the grass under their feet. Still, they continued their unholy march towards the Imperials.

The first walker darted up to the small group of Stormtroopers and its huge head lowered, staring at the Xenomorphs, daring them to challenge it. The AT-ST's crew fired the walkers main weapons, and the ground in the middle of the alien horde simply exploded. Dirt and debris flew into the air then fell to the ground. Some were crushed by the debris, others hit by laser fire. Still, they continued, gaining ground.

One trooper grabbed a thermal detonator and threw it, the explosive knocking a Xenomorph to the ground as it collided with the alien. Quickly the creature jumped up. It stared at the bomb for a second, then raised its head and roared as it realised what the object was. Seconds later the detonator exploded, blowing the alien into pieces. Its blood showered the others but they took no heed, they were immune.

Soon they were next to the Imperials, engaging in close combat. Now the real battle would begin.....

The full chapter will feature many Imperial vehicles, a suprise appearence by the Rebels, and a fight between a Imperial Walker and a Queen Alien.
