When I log in here, about a quarter of the time, my pc crashes. The only thing that seems to stop it is quickly switching to another window before the page is fully loaded, and even that isn't 100%. Was wondering if anyone else has been having this problem?

And apparently if I hit reload after I've been away from keyboard for awhile.

that sounds like a computer issue more than a GB issue.

The only time it happens is on GB though. I agree with you, it's just maddening that it only happens on my favorite site.

Aww, your favourite site. :D

But I have no idea why this would be happening. Although it has to be said that GB is functioning 100% correctly at the moment. Grr...

It's straightforward, not flashy and stupid.

The mouse click-and-drag page navigation is handy.

I've opened this thread because I've got a new problem with my pc, was wondering if anyone could help, and didn't want to take up space with a new thread.

This started yesterday, completely out of the blue. Running Vista, (don't know if that's important or not) I'm able to boot up my computer, log in, etcetera, and can make it all the way to my desktop. Within a minute or so of reaching my desktop, the pc I get the blue screen of death for about a second, before it restarts the computer. I've been trying to read what's on the blue screen, I know that it says something about dumping to or from the hardisk or something. It also says to try updating my BIOS, which...I have no idea how to do. I've been running my computer on safe mode all day, and even that freezes after a while.

Any ideas?

Might want to unlock the thread then, lol.

I would say that there's a good chance it's Vista related. :p

Is there an error code included? Like a number? It would be easier to Google the number code than the text part, probably.

So GB officially hates me.

Apparently I can't start threads now. At the very least I can't start a thread for a new fanfic. Everytime I try, I get this error:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, admin@server3.web-mania.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Apache/1.3.27 Server at www.galacticbasic.net Port 80

Edit: Was able to finally post it by removing the word "from" from my post twice. And I had to crawl through every sentence to do so. Someone give me a mallet and a leprechaun, I need to let out some anger.

That same error is still kicking around?

I remember when I had to do that for one of my big FFA posts.

*hates the word 'from'* :p
