Finally got myself caught up... watched Epitaph One (not sure if I like it or not right now) and the season 2 premiere episode, which was pretty awesome. Not a fan of Paul being Echo's new handler, though.

I'm a fan of Jamie Bamber being a bad guy, though. that was cool. Glad to see Alex Denisof back on a Joss show too.

Anyway, enjoyed this past episode, too. Interesting idea that they can change more than just their memories, but also their glands. Kind of freaky, really.

Plus, I'm not sure I'm really buying this, where Echo is suddenly cognizant of the fact that she's an active and wants to bring down the Dollhouse with Paul. I know she's been glitching all last season, but it seems too sudden to me.

Fortunately, though, FOX is letting Joss and everyone finish out the season and complete it, to give us an ending, at least, instead of just axing it partway through.

Seriously. I just finally got around to watching the most recent episode, and besides the first Alpha ep I thought it was the best one yet. Upside though, now we get to wonder just what Joss will think of next.

Part of it has to do with it being on Friday night. Fridays are generally bad ratings days anyway. And now with people watching Dollhouse mostly online and in other venues, it just doesn't have the ratings for FOX to validate keeping it.

At least we'll get about two months of episodes to wrap it up. I'm curious if it'll end up matching up to Epitaph One, or if it'll just end with Echo/Paul bringing down the Dollhouse.
