I think it's something around 45% and 40% for the two blood types. For example, there's a region in Bombay that has what's called the Bombay Phenotype and those people can't even take type O blood, they have to have blood of the Bombay Phenotype it's like little o or something like that I've read (on the incredibly reliable Wikipedia!) that there are actually several different identifying factors for blood beyond Rh factor and the blood blood cell thing.
