Mara 29 Posted August 2, 2007 I don't try. I'll stick with good ol 90's rock...and the 80's, they were mostly good too. Hehe.. I have lots of cheesy '80s music on my computer at home.
Uncle Du 22 Posted August 3, 2007 Everyone seems to be forgetting about Depeche Mode. I don't care what anyone says, they were awesome...and the Clash, Ah Ha....man, how can you say the 80's sucked?!
Ender 8 Posted August 3, 2007 I was just gonna say, forgot The Clash. I always think of them as late-70's, because that's when their three best came out, though I love Sandanista! and Combat Rock. Big Audio Dynamite was good for two albums, too. That Mick Jones-less Clash album should never, ever be spoken of. Ever.
Princess 35 Posted August 4, 2007 Just got back from seeing David D Young perform the music of Styx, that was awesome. And I had real Memphis BBQ ribs, they were pretty good
Uncle Du 22 Posted August 4, 2007 Mmm, ribs, that sounds really good right now...even though it's breakfast time. ;)

Andy 60 Posted August 9, 2007 We're soon starting an American-themed promotion at work soon... Hmm. Cos obviously, McDonald's isn't normally associated with anything American anyway.

Rogue 4 Posted August 9, 2007  Nothing more American than a cowboy hat! *pictures Beeurd sitting behnd the counter at McDonalds with an oversized Cowboy hat attempting a southern drawl*
Ana 15 Posted August 9, 2007 TELL ME YOU'RE GOING TO START HAVING THE RIDICULOUSLY LARGE DRINKS. THE ONES TWICE THE SIZE OF THE LARGEST BRITISH DRINK. THE ONES LARGE ENOUGH FOR SMALL CHILDREN TO DROWN IN. Or else, tell me that you're all gonna have to start speaking with American accents. 'Cause then I'd die laughing. TheUnknown 39 Posted August 9, 2007 *pictures Beeurd sitting behnd the counter at McDonalds with an oversized Cowboy hat attempting a southern drawl* He'd sound Australian. An Australian accents sounds like a mixture of an English accent and a Southern drawl.
Uncle Du 22 Posted August 9, 2007 There's nothing special about an American accent really. I mean, look at all the British actors that can pull one off. All you have to do is use bad grammar and pronounce things wrong. :p
Radioactive Isotope 29 Posted August 9, 2007 lol ok, so we just busted a kid for some hardcore anime pr0n. on top of all the other stupid people i get to deal with, my day just keeps getting better. *bangs head on desk* can we just cancel the rest of today and start over tomorrow when i don't have to work? Andy 60 Posted August 9, 2007 Please tell me you have to wear cowboy hats. I don't think so. Plus I'm a manager so I'd be exempt from the sillyness. Or else, tell me that you're all gonna have to start speaking with American accents. 'Cause then I'd die laughing. 1. No, nobody would be able to afford a drink that big here, seeing as your twice-the-size drink is also like half-the-price of our biggest. lol 2. No... We like the customers to be able to understand what we're saying. :p
